"Saw this place as we were walking to Peasholm Park as it’s just opposite the Columbus Ravine entrance. As I’d been fancying a proper green salad, it seemed a good place to stop. Wow. Just wow! For under £10 we got two large salad boxes, one with meat, a quiche, and two sodas. Absolutely the best option so far in our week of seaside holidaying, so much so that we are popping by there in the morning, on our way out of town, to get another lunch parcel to take for our picnic as we make our way south. With cobs starting at under £2 and hot meals under £4, why would you have a supermarket sandwich or “salad”?"

I don't usually like fish fingers but my husband wanted to try one of the street food options so I opted for them anyway and couldn't have been more wrong. They were cooked to perfection. "I was born and live in Scarborough-the home of Boyes store.Nowhere beats Boyes for value and choice.Decided to visit the cafe(first time in years) approx 1 30 in the afternoon.One young woman at the counter serving and taking the money.I ordered a cheese and onion toastie and pot of tea for one.thought it would be quicker as the chip tureen was empty and knew I would have to wait for fresh to be cooked,otherwise I would have had their steak pie etc(which in the Brid dept is brilliant)The toastie took absolutely ages to come and when it did I was appalled! luke warm,and underdone,no crispiness,and must have used half of a whole red onion!bit of salad on the side.Scraped most of the onion out of the sandwich,and ate nearly half--left the rest!How can anyone get a toasted sarnie wrong?Waste of money and left with revolting taste /onion breath rest of day.will never go again!Oh and the brilliant toilets were ruined by the one and only drier being out of order!(no paper towels supplied)"

"my friend and I ate here when we were on vacation in Scarborough. we are both vegan, and were not sure if they would not offer us as many Italian restaurants, but they had a fully vegan menu! the eating was delicious, the waiting staff was attentive and friendly, (especially alessandro) and the restaurant itself is beautiful. they can see how much they care about the restaurant, it was a great experience!"

"I've visited Florio's, about 4 times this year, each time the food and service is second to none. I was supposed to be meeting people, but ended up eating on my own. The service, in such a busy place, is second to no one. The pizza totally delicious. The young Italian waiter is full of humour and looked after me from start to finish. A credit to his employer. As I paid my bill the young waiter handed me a boxed Italian panettone cake, saying it's a gift to our regulars. I explained although I enjoy Florio's, I am limited to how often I go. He politely replied, we recognise you sir. I can't fault this place, for a starter, main course, and 2 beers, £25. Thank you."
