This restaurant offers delicious homemade food at reasonable prices, especially given today's crazy world. The Cullen Skink is absolutely fantastic. We stopped off here for something to eat after visiting Smoo cave, we had a fine plate of fish and chips, our son had chicken goujons with salad and chips, the goujons are massive, and succulent, everything was piping hot and very tasty, this was my second visit, we'd definitely return. I recently visited the area during my holiday and discovered An Cala cafe, which is conveniently located. There's plenty of parking available, and the staff were fabulous. The fish and chips were excellent, and I couldn't resist the even more delicious apple and strawberry crumble! I highly recommend An Cala for its great value for money. I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The service was quick and courteous. The chicken goujons were among the best I've ever tasted, and the salad was a standout with its abundance of ingredients, especially the teardrop peppers that added a wonderful complexity to the flavor. For dessert, the red velvet cheesecake was simply outstanding. I would highly recommend this place whether you're in the area or traveling the NC500 route.
