"We ate there this afternoon with our 2 daughters. Very good dishes, pleasant and fast service, nice surprise. If we stayed longer in Langeais, we would have gone back!!! "We went to the restaurant two days in a row for dinner while staying in Langeais. On the first day we went there 20 minutes earlier than opening (6:30pm) but the owner let us sit on a table and after like 10minute since ordering, our food arrived. But on the next day at 8pm, it took only like 5minutes. Kebab was especially good and it's my recommendation. Tables in the terrace can be busy but they enough enough seats. If you want to have quick nice food, this place is the best in Langeais."

"When we left the castle, a little patisserie was involved. The house was rebelishing. Two simple cakes, a chocolate flash and a Gargantua. A delight!The lightning, with its very black glazing, makes fear a very high taste. Not at all, the whole thing is fine. The inner cream is delicate and balanced. As for the gargantua, it is a delicious chocolate cake, with meringue and a chocolate cream with just perfect lightness and accuracy. The welcome is serious, but with a bigger smile and a little more heat, it would be perfect. I give 5 stars for the gustative experience, certainly limited but perfect; Reasonable prices."

"we came, two couples and one child, from the angels, to dinner in this crêpery on Saturday, August 19; We have a heart to make the local economy work, but now, what a disappointment for our currency door. While the pancakes are good (no more) but the prices you practice are shameful. a bottle of cider at 13,50€ and dessert (two enjoyolles Chantilly) at 8,50€ (price from a semi-gastronomic restaurant while the quality is not there), you exaggerate. I'm ashamed of tourists. It's not because you are placed next to the castle of Langeais that you need to practice this excessive rate. We paid €104.60 for a pancake and dessert (4 adults and one child) without aperitif. We are used to frequent restaurants (classical, semi-gastro and gastro) and know the world of restoration well, but here we are disappointed. The price is not correct."

"Ah, Langeais....beautiful Langeais. Nestled in the heart of La Loire with it's stunning chateaux towering over the pristine streets of this picturesque market town. How could anyone be miserable living and working in a place as alluring and as handsome as this? I don't know, but you could ask the proprietor of Pont Levis because he has misery off to a fine art. Arrogant and rude doesn't cover it either. whistling at my 6 year old son to get his attention as if he's a dog. Really? we should have walked out there and then and spent our 89 Euros elsewhere, but there was a children's menu and decided this should be as good as anywhere else in Langeais. Well, if your children like chicken and chips then you'll be fine, because that was the only option on "Le menu enfants". Our's don't. We then had a fight on our hands to persuade said proprietor to make them a plain omelette each. We then ordered our meals which, when they arrived were nice enough. At least the chef takes some pride in his work. We ate. We left. No tip for you Monsiuer."
