There has been a gastronomy in the premises since 1899. Since 1979 the restaurant has been operated as a second-generation family business by Thomas Schütz. Valuta has established itself as one of the best restaurants in Saarland. This was also the reason to finally take the opportunity to visit Valuta. The ambience: Valuta makes a welcoming impression. Only and alone, the parking situation has some optimization potential. After entering the premises you feel right well. Pleasant warm shades and a simple but also stylish decor, invite you to stay. The friendly welcome by the service staff and the direct allocation of the reserved table proves that the guest is not only regarded as a paying recipient. The food: The menu is rather small and simple, but also shows a little exclusivity in the selection of ingredients. In addition to the dishes listed on the menu, there are still a few day recommendations that come from the selected sources of reference of the operator. Today, the Valuta still had a small number of Koteletts from the countryside pig from the region or even well-hanged entre Côte from the Argentinian Black Angus Rind. I chose the Black Angus. That was a very good decision. I got a perfectly medium rare prepared entre Côte on a whisky pepper sauce. Here a top Islay whisky was used that perfectly supported with its smokeiness, the grill roast flavors of the meat. Service: The service was more than appropriate for the category of restaurant. Adjectives like competent, friendly, always there when needed, never intrusive, ... are just a few points to be highlighted here. Je le dis a la serveuse qui me dit que j'aurai du demander du sel et du poivre !!!!!! et quelle le signale a la patronne qui ne se manifeste pas a la table et qui quand je paie ne dit aucun mot . Je viens de lire votre réponse.Que vous soyez mécontent , je le comprends et je le suis aussi de ce que vous nous avez servi . Sachez que INCIPIDE ne veux pas dire IMMENGEABLE donc nous avons terminé notre assiette sans plaisir .Mon palais n'est pas atrophié , ma vue et mon odorat ne sont sont pas totalement défectueux monsieur le docteur . Quand a votre réflexion que je pensai manger a l'oeil me surprend puisse que je n'ai jamais discuté l'addition que j'ai payé sans commentaires.Votre agréssivité est a la hauteur de la médiocrité de ce que vous nous avez servi ."
