"we were looking for something else than pizza or Mexican in Palamos and found this. We tried the Sole (very good), calamar (very good) and tournedos (good as well, nice a ****). The staff speaks French (at least 2 of them do) and the menu is in French, Dutch and English. Normally I avoid these types of restaurants as they are tourist traps by this one was good and clean."

we sat outside and as we discussed the menu were v overheard by other english speakers who showed their plates and firmly indicated ' 'overpriced and not great ' we left

This could be an expensive place to eat, but go for the set lunch menu and you get a nice meal with generous servings at a good price. We are in the air-conditioned restaurant alongside the pavement outside the ma in building and it was very pleasant.

We always visit Bell Port when we are in Palamos and never have been disappointed! Excellent quality food, the onion soup, fish of the day and tournedos are absolutely delicious. Prices are honest and service is efficient. Definitely a recommendation when you visit the area.
