Blackwater Bistro - Piatti

We visited the Blackwater Quay today with family. 6 adults and 4 kids. The service and food were excellent. I had the fish and chips it was superb. My daughter in laws ploughman’s was huge. It was also good value for money.

Despite the heat and difficult circumstances the night we ate here due to staff and family illness, we were served a lovely meal the owner did everything he could to cater for us. It is in a lovely spot overlooking the river.

I have dined here with friends and family over the last few months a few times, I can honestly say the food is amazing. Steak cooked to perfection. Fish and chips delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit. Visualizza piatti

Absolute top notch cooked breakfast. The food was delicious and hot with really good ingredients, local sausages and bacon, perfectly cooked eggs and lovely hash browns. They have a seriously professional coffee machine and my decaf was great. The service was so friendly too.

We have now visited the restaurant for the breakfast on a Sunday morning and the fish and chips on Wednesday evening and thoroughly enjoyed both occasions, food was first class, the restaurant lovely and the staff friendly and welcoming, I look forward to trying one of the Thursday theme nights soon.

Lovely restaurant found at the end of a long dog walk along the estuary. I would recommend this as a dog walk! We came across this place on Google maps although Google takes you to the wrong place! Luckily we could check the images in this website to locate the restaurant. Very friendly staff and excellent food prices. The food was also very tasty. There is a large beer garden, terrace and indoor area. Dogs are allowed in all sections. I would visit again!

Another lovely lunch at the Blackwater Quay. The garden is looking lovely and the food good. My two visiting friends were really impressed. It would have been a 5 but just a couple of niggles. We picked up menus and no one mentioned no fish was available. We were at the far end of the garden so I had to nip back for new choices as we'd all opted for fish. When food arrived, we hadn't been reminded that cutlery and condiments were in the bar so off I went again. Small things that didn't affect a great lunch though. I rang up to ask about fitting in a large group in and they were very accommodating. Set table up in the bar which we asked for. Lady behind the bar was lovely and welcoming. We ordered our food with a man and all the food came out looking amazing and tasted amazing. But one thing let them down. We asked about 3 of the same side with our Oder. Only one came out and the man said we only ordered one. We did order 3 but it wasn’t too much of a problem and was going to ask for 2 more of the same side, but the man serving us became very argumentative.
