No nonsense, delicious thin and crusty pizzas with a range of toppings. Carafe of hose red and some garlic bread with grandma's Tirimisu to finish. Delicious. Good value, by expensive Itlian standards. Outside seating available but cooler and quieter inside.

At the end of a bike tour we were looking rather desperately for something to eat and found this marvel. We had fresh hand made Umbrichelli all 'Amatriciana as first and Arrosticini as second course. Delicious! The arrosticini were maybe even better than those found in Valle Roveto in Abruzzo ... The restaurant is situated in the small old center (borgo) of Castiglione, in front of the (real) castle which gave it its name. Very lovely! Visualizza piatti

We stayed in the area for a month early summer) and this place consistently fed us with delicious food which was beautifully presented. Good for veggies and amazing for sea food lovers.The menu was all in Italian and no English was spoken which was half the fun! The staff are warm and welcoming and happy for our two small kids to run around. It's easy to find; just off the main square with plenty of free parking. Opening times are from 12.00 for lunch and 19.30 daily.

A very friendly and welcoming restaurant just off the main square of this lovely town. Ottavio's panna cotta is simply wonderful and Mario's pizzas are thin and crusty with a huge variety of delicious toppings,, easily the best in the area! They also do take away pizza. They have excellent fresh fish and meat from the local area and a wide selection of pasta dishes. This restaurant is at the heart of the village and you will get a real feel for all the local characters. The owners are warm and genuine people and nothing is too much trouble. It is a real privilege to meet them and be a part of this lovely community.

This is the restaurant that the locals go to for good food. So it has no pretensions and doesn't serve specialities dressed up for tourists. It is the real thing with no frills. As a result do not eat it in the main area, where there is a lot of local banter and clothes flung on various chairs, but proceed to the rear room.This is the only room with a window,, but with no view.. This may already sound a bit negative,, but in fact, we chose to eat there three times and the toilets are impeccable and the service and the service speedy pleasant albeit without English. The food is superbly cooked and and well presented. Faultless. The local cuisine is very much based around meat, and what is sea... Visualizza piatti
