home, decor, atmosphere and especially dishes are topissimo!!!

service kind of ok location is not the best pizza not good other entrees/plats quite expensive for the quality level....

Me and my family were looking for a restaurant next to the apartment we were staying and we found Cantinella!! The decoration is super nice, the woman that served us (maybe the owner) was adorable.. But the food, oh the food!! It was spetacular and...with great prices.. We had our best meal in Paris for ours days stay

This is the best Italian food our whole family have tried before. The staff and manager was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating as we didn't speak French. The experience and service was one of the best even though the restaurant was busy. The food exceeded...our expectations from appetizers to main dishes. I highly recommend this place!

very good experience! A most charming welcome. a refined place, a simple and clean decoration. a appetizing 100 Italian card. reasonable prices. I ended up spitting for a spritz, pizza, and sunshine! nothing to say, it was good from the beginning to the end. you are welcomed with amused mouth miam and the little more the addition is not too salty;

exquisite meal: all dishes are fresh, homemade, very good eating, refined. it is worth eating there, and both are elfenbein and gloom equally well. beautiful wine list also on the glass. a beautiful atmosphere. nothing very special, but a beautiful room, not too crowded even. when fully elegantly decorated. the service is very professional, but very warm and friendly. very nice people.

It's a pity that Cantinella is open only on workdays (for lunch and dinner, to boot for that meant that I could not sample the exquisite cuisine there very often. But that's my problem, not the proprietor's, for the pizza is amazing. Whether it's Quattro...Stagioni, Napolitana or Regina, you don't have to think about it it will be excellent. The only trouble is, the restaurant is small and one has to wait to be seated it's always crowded there. Luckily, one can take away a pizza and not wait more than necessary But for pizza like the one in Cantinella it's worth the wait.

We discovered Cantinella on our last night in Paris, and I'm so glad we did! Paris has some amazing Italian restaurants, but this one was somehow even better than the rest! They served a delightful little amuse bouche which wet our appetites to start. For...starters we shared a beef carpaccio with fries and beans all of which were divine. Then for mains I had the Regina pizza which was top notch the crust was crisp and the toppings were on point. My mum had one of the steaks with a creamy tomato sauce with mushrooms I didn't realise steak could be improved so much with such a delicious sauce. This was such a sweet discovery in the A wee Italian restaurant on the Faubourg St. Jacques about a mile from where we were staying. It was wonderful from the moment we arrived to the moment we walked out the door. Very little English...but we got on just fine with our limited language skills. We used our wee bits of French and they used their much better grasp of English and we had a delightful meal. After we ordered, we were treated to a mini bite of a special appetizer from the chef a delicious bit of toasted baguette with a pistachio sauce, tomato and cheese. Delicious.
