Clarendon - Menu

We had a very pleasant meal in this restaurant. Food was excellent, good value and the waiter was very attentive throughout. Unrushed, comfortable surroundings makes for a very relaxing evening. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.Waiting staff friendly and helpful. Good size portions of meat but few vegetables. Staff happy to cater for picky eaters Guinea fowl, chicken and pork dishes good, but ceaser salad uninspired

hello I booked a table with my family for my 50th birthday. eating was amazing and the staff was very attentive, friendly. it was a great night. if they want something special that is a little more expensive and different, they go here.

Was looking forward to a good steak .. Good choice on the menu. I like my steak rare and of course it arrived medium, I was tired and Hungry so I finished it... The cost was quite expensive. Given the choice again I would use...the local pub...

the restaurant is functional in style had little soul or atmosphere, but credit, where due, our meals were delicious, hot well presented. Nil points for the exit from sauvignon blanc English senf. but a very hearty 5 out of 5 for. the warm efficient service.

the bread and olives are really nice. the goats cheese tart was ok but heavily laden with onions. the duck risotto was really nice but a big portion and i was so full i couldn't eat even half. dessert menu is a bit weird. not...a normal dessert on the whole menu. very odd combinations. cocktail menu is new, expensive and extremely limited.

Very good food. We went for the Fish and Chips which was great. Starter and dessert also very good and well presented. And to top it all, the house Red was a very drinkable Merlot, better than most house reds we have experienced. Ambience could...be better, its very brightly lit so you cannot escape the fact you are in a hotel restaurant but pleasant all the same and service was excellent.

eating at the clarendon restaurant was incredible. after a slight thing at the beginning we were looked after with great care and attention. my partner and I both had the angus sirloin steak. I honestly cannot remember eating a better steak! it was. perfect for our request and then the breakfast in the morning after not missed to impress. 11/10 in our eyes. thanks to the staff and the back room team.

visited here during the stay at the hotel, and to be honest, it was a bit disappointing for me. my colleagues suggested eating in the nearby royal oak pub. the menu did not look particularly good, and it was hard to find 2 courses for under £20.00, most brasserie restaurants offer a fixed price 2 curs meal. So I started with sweet soup, this was served with 2 pieces dry brown brot, no sign of butter, suppe was ok brot as described. for the main I had the chicken caesar salat, this was served with brot crooutons, just piece of brot crushed! a new one on me, I was complaining and was sent some boiled, this is so basic for a 4 restaurant that I was actually shocked, only lazy in the kitchen, pr...
