"A few days ago we had a disappointing experience, when we found the restaurant to be closed, even though we had a reservation since long. A couple of days later we got a sincere excuse from the restaurant, with an explanation as to why it...had been closed. (This reason was apparently an unprefictable emergency situation We decided to give the restaurant a second chance, and this time everything was perfect! The food and the wine was superb, and the service was excellent. The restaurant offers a short but very good menue with a variety of meals at reasonable prices. We can truly recommend this restaurant."

Me and my boyfried are always looking for restaurants, which are not flooded by tourists and which represent the local cuisine. We found Cote Marais on Tripadvisor and went there on Monday and came back the next evening. We had a menu with courses...and it was amazing. The food was fresh and the menu is well composed. The owners were polite and attentive. If you are looking for a great evening with a french cuisine and good wine, you should visit.

We had a reservation at Tuesday night. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed, and there was nobody there. We knocked on the door, several times, and we called the restaurant on the phone many times, but no response. Other guests and neighbors were...also surprised, in a negative way. Extremely disappointing! In case there was an emergency which called for a closure of the restaurant, the least you could expect, would have been a notice on the door, that the restaurant had to be closed that night.
