"The food was really good! I've tried pizza all over the world and this was definitely one of the best! The tacos were delicious too, I wished there were more! The cocktail was great, I would have had another one if I wasn't driving. The service was quick, especially for a Saturday night when we arrived late. The decor had nice colors and wall art, although I was unsure about the hanging buckets. The atmosphere was a bit loud, making it hard to have a conversation, and the music was too lively for my taste. Maybe some more mellow jazz would be better. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. They offer vegetarian options for all dishes. Parking is free on the street after 6pm, but it can get very crowded. There is a small paid car park just a short walk across the road."

"Excellent selection of foods and very cheap. I chose the man O'War in the absence of the available Cajun chicken. It was very spicy so if you like a little heat I would definitely recommend it. The staff was really friendly and the service was quick to remember that it was the lunch break. Many regulars from what I could say."

"We hadn't visited this restaurant in a couple of years and had good memories of it being a special place (we had brought guests here as it was at the top of our list of local restaurants), but our recent experience this week was disappointing. The staff member who greeted us at the door seemed disinterested in being at work, showing no signs of friendliness or engaging in any conversation throughout the evening, including when we paid the bill. First impressions are important. Unfortunately, the food was also lacking. Although the menu descriptions were intriguing with a variety of options, none of our appetizers or main dishes stood out - where were the promised flavors? Bruschetta without garlic or basil? Overall, the food was just "okay" but not worth the price. It seemed like cheap ingredients were used and corners were cut to save money. The restaurant still has a nice ambiance and I'm sure it's lively on weekends, but this historic place deserves better. We will be exploring other dining options in the future. It's a shame, as this restaurant has the potential to be truly special."

"Average bar service, unfortunately, my rare beef salad was so overpowered by the pickled cabbage, I couldn't taste the salsa verde, even the chilli, I wouldn't have to write this review, but when I explained this to the lady serving us, she said it's a personal preference that's that. I would think on a customer service level she would at least say thanks for your feedback and I will let the chef know. would have been polite and I was listened to, for the critique of my dining experience. I don't think the staff care to much about what comes out on service and are more interested in chatting to the boys at the bar, my table was from around 3 pm to 5 pm on Saturday 4th Feb 23, I don't think I will be returning. The runner buss boy was very good and he listened more than the girl staff chatting at the bar."

"Ive visited praised this cafe so many times and was always my go to place for breakfast. I work overseas so cant visit as much as Id like to but today was a real disappointment. It was really busy which it always is however...since the outside seating area has been built, I just dont think staff can handle the amount of servings on a nice day aswell as takeaways. We got a seat inside next to the counter after the previous party had left, I asked 3 times if they could clean my table, then on the final time of asking, I asked for the cloth and cleaned it myself. I opted for the full breakfast 9.80) and when It came I honestly thought it was a kids portion. 1 sausage, 1 rasher of bacon, 1 poached egg, about 20 beans, 1 slice of black pudding mushrooms (See photo) and the toast was clay cold. The personnel are a great bunch of staff, I just think the owners have potentially lost concentration of the importance of customer service over money seats profit. I did speak face to face with the cashier when she asked me if everything was OK, and she said shed pass on my comments to the kitchen. Please go back to how you were! breakfast was still tasty by the way, just a minuscule portion"
