"Wow, just WOW!! We stay in this village once a year to attend an event nearby. We almost didn’t go to the Denbigh Arms this year as it wasn’t great in the past BUT new people have taken it over and it’s just FABULOUS!! No more grumpy staff. Everyone so polite and helpful. Nicky and her chef partner have totally transformed this place!! My wife had “the best steak she had ever eaten” and both my dishes were PERFECT too. Price was very reasonable for such top class service and excellent food. If you at the Denbigh Arms, pay a visit to Stonehurst Farm, about 30mins away. Fab place to go."

Had a lovely family meal, friendly staff, great selection of beer and all kept well, great place in safe hands under new landlords.

The menu was over priced for what is was, the Salmon especially. I had the burger. The cheese board was probably the best value for money.

A welcoming village pub serving a quality Sunday Lunch, a selection of 4 Meats with all the trimmings. I usually don’t choose Carvery but the portions were great and the veg was good too.

If I could give it 6 out of 5, I would! Delicious food including a lovely main meal, sumptuous dessert, and splendid coffee. The staff were all wonderful. I am definitely coming back again Visualizza piatti

I’ve been to this restaurant so many times and never had a bad experience, the food is incredible every time, all staff are so lovely. Beautiful country pub in a beautiful setting. Definitely recommend.

Super Sunday lunch at The Denbigh Arms. Under new management, the pub atmosphere has been transformed. Nice to see it busy again. Impressed by what I regard as a modern classics menu. Good variety of dishes. All reasonably priced. Food was served promptly and was all of a high standard. Good quality and well presented. The staff were welcoming, efficient and very kind. Perfect for families. We will definitely return.

I have just finished the BEST steak I have ever had in a restaurant. The sirloin was seasoned well and cooked to perfection! I’m not a fan of tomato and mushroom so I asked for extra salad and aioli instead which the chef was happy to do. Nicky’s service was just great. She was friendly and welcoming. There’s a nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant with a busy but homely bar for an after dinner drink if you want to make a night of it. Visualizza piatti

This is a pub we’ve lunched at many times in the past and our first time since the new owners took over. Whilst the food was good, I too found it overpriced, especially for the children’s meal. Two fish goujons, chips and peas….not much return for £7!! (Could have served up four goujons at least). Sweets starting at £7 , no thank you. The blonde behind the bar was far from customer-friendly. We won’t be returning, sadly. On to pastures new……

Met a friend here for lunch. ... We knew beforehand it was just basket meals; not a posh gastro experience! ... Everything was very affordable. I had spicy ribs with a side of cheesy chips. My friend had scampi, onion rings, and chips. There was lots of food. It was all genuinely tasty. Everything was down to earth, utterly unpretentious. The service was quick. Genuinely friendly staff. My friend had a dog and the cook spontaneously brought him some leftover meat to eat. The beer was good, and the drinks were great value.

"Visited this place for the first time last night and have to say the service was really really poor from the second we walked through the door. Our table was booked for 7.45pm we didn’t get seated till 8.20pm and when the young girl seated us there was no apologies for waiting and she came across very blunt..the soup starter was lovely but the bread was a let down it was like cake and the bread with that brown sauce on ruins the bread it tasted pretty nasty,my friend liked the bread but said that the sauce ruined it. The bread to me just wasn’t very nice I make home made bread myself and this was pretty poor it tasted nothing like homemade bread. For the main I had a medium rare steak the steak was very raw inside you may aswell have just gave me a cow mooing and only the sides had been touched it was cold in the middle!! and warm on the outside (I ate it as I was so hungry I had been working all day and came straight home dressed and out again) but it had not been cooked properly to how I like it, I felt funny after eating the steak. The service was really poor one lad said to us “have you finished with that” nearly everybody spoke so lazy there was no professionalism. There was only one person who stood out as I overheard him serve another table and he was very welcoming and professional he was wearing all black and was also working on the bar he had dark blond ish hair and spoke gentle,I hope your paying him well because his manners etc is impeccable and he was very polite to us when he served us upstairs at the bar."
