"My husband and I are visiting Cologne from the US. We had Turkish food on our first day here and fell in love with it. We decided to try another place for dinner. I picked this location for reasons. they had so many...positive reviews and they had English menus. Well the reason they have so many reviews is because they give you a discount for posting a review! I had hoped the English menus meant they were welcoming towards Americans but our beautiful female server with the curly brown hair proved otherwise. At first I thought maybe she was having a bad night. But I watched her throughout the evening and she was laughing and smiling to everyone but us. When I told her how the delicious the food was, she said thank you and didn’t even look me in the eye. She never asked us if we wanted more beverages, how the food was or if we wanted dessert. Now the food was decent, actually better than the place we had lunch but the service just ruined the whole experience for us. We have had wonderful service from all other establishments, even the ones who speak minimal English. It’s such a disappointment."

This is the third Turkish restaurant i tried in Weidenstrasse. The food is good and the atmosphere a little more cozy then in other Turkish restaurants. Good and fresh dishes are served and also accompanied by alcoholic drinks (if you wish).

We stumbled across this restaurant and were so glad we did! There was a steady stream of customers both eat in and for take out during our meal. Be warned- arrive hungry as the potions are huge but the prices aren’t. A dinner sandwich with...fries and a drink is euro’s a bargain anywhere but especially when served in a restaurant under glowing chandeliers and a professional wait staff. The menu is extensive with something to appeal to every taste all at reasonable prices maybe Euro’s). My husband is a big eater and struggled to finish his meal. We both left totally satisfied and would return. Definitely recommend
