The food was tasty especially the ricotta and spinach ravioli in butter sauce and the Brunello wine was outstanding. My husbands risotto was bland. The service was lacking warmth and hospitality.

Soddisfazione al 100%. Sono rimasto lì per due notti, probabilmente il posto migliore in cui abbia mai soggiornato. Il servizio, la camera, il ristorante hanno tutti superato le nostre aspettative.

Brilliant food and service. The food is always good in Tuscany, but Drogheria Franci delivers on a higher level that leaves you satisfied in both mind and soul. The young chefs are playing with tradition, and gets away with it perfectly. Highly recommend it…

Incredibile! Non posso credere che ci potrebbe essere un commento negativo o medio. Se prendi gli gnocchi con anatra, il loro pane fatto in casa, o altre paste fatte in casa sarai in paradiso! Ottimo ambiente, servizio, cibo, vino e personale affascinante e competente! Lo valuterei 15 se potessi!

The restaurant is just perfect! Nice place, nice people, superb menu and even better wine list. Absolutely top experience and fuly recommended! Can’t praise the staff here highly enough, very helpful and knowledgeable. We had lunch and dinner during our stay and the staff had chef prepare an alternative dish just for us so there was no repetition. Some of the dishes are slightly unusual but definitely worth a try. Excellent wine selection and staff helped with some great recommendations.

Questo ristorante è stata una piacevole sorpresa per noi. Avevamo passeggiato per la città verso la Fortezza e abbiamo notato casualmente i tavoli all'aperto, con la vista impressionante. Il menu sembrava piuttosto buono, così abbiamo deciso di provarlo. Il pasto era molto buono, così come il servizio. Il piatto di cinghiale era eccellente, così come il tartare e gli contorni di verdure.

We are an Italian family of four originally from Val d'Orcia (this area). Having bought a small property nearby, we decided to visit all the restaurants in Montalcino (and a few nearby) to choose our favorites. One of us has dietary restrictions, basically eating only fish or vegetables. Therefore we did not go to places that did not have at least one suitable option.
