"I took my wife to The Niche for her birthday dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty to make the night very special. The food we had was of very good quality and cooked to perfection. The Niche team also gave my wife a wee treat at the end of our meal. "I just want to say a massive thanks to our amazing meal on the 1st april! our family went to adesso for my mother birthday nineteen of us,) as usual was eating nice, not a complaining everyone really enjoyed it. I'm vegetarian, it's not always easy to find something else, but anyway I never miss! the mushroom ravioli is one of the best pasta dishes I ever had, and the passion fruit meringue was for dying! some of our family live in kilwinning and have never eaten there, but they will be definitiv again, everyone is still talking about it. I also have to add that it is not just eating that is great that the staff is also excellent. nothing is too much annoyed they are friendly and efficient. many thanks for making our night so pleasant and my mothers eighty first birthday an unforgettable one!"

"I love this place. Always attend the quiz night and have a meal in the restaurant first. However I have to say the manager on my last visit was very rude, gave our booth to another group of people. Even tho you can pre request the seats. That was really NOT the issue it was his manner, arguing with us, loudly In front of a busy restaurant. I was shocked to learn he was the manager. Do yourself a favour and get someone that deserves to be in this position.. because the braes is a brilliant place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere .."

"Stayed here for 3 nights, no ensuite in room. But was clean and tidy. My wife is disabled and was put in a room with 2 flights of stairs, my wife struggled. Booked a table for me and my wife for 6 o clock on...the Saturday night. The table I booked was not available, got told another table was mine, reserved sign on table, when we got there table was taken, moved us to another table, wasn't happy, then was asked would I like to move into the restaurant, I said no. Finished my meal then was told we would have to move to let singer set up. Wasn't happy, asked to move again was told it would be me and my wife's table for the night, finished our drinks and left. They took more care of the regulars and locals. Wouldnt go back again."
