"I agree with Joanne from Liverpool. I have dined at El Levante in Carihuela for many years and always enjoyed this family-run restaurant—the old gentleman (probably the owner) doing the little things that made it such a great restaurant and the young waiter (probably a grandson) and other long-time staff providing great service. Last night I had the grilled prawns. Where are the potatoes and salad sides that used to come with the entree? Big disappointment. I realize that restaurant owners eventually have to retire and sell their business, but I wish the new owners would continue the traditions and excellent food and service of the former owner. I won’t return."

Friendly attentive staff. The food was really tasty and the portions were generous. It’s was a peaceful restaurant. Most of the dinners were older couples. I’m lucky my son eat a big variety of foods and they were happy with seafood and lamb cutlets
