"That restaurant of a lifetime has been authentic Canarian food, with spectacular pork meat and large quantities. Good food at a good price. However they decided to make changes and offer more „elevated“ dishes in order to sell you the most expensive food. Now they serve you beautiful plates with more decoration than food. The starters were good, except for the limpets, which were burnt and hard. We had the grill for 2 people at €40 and we were almost hungry. They changed the marinade of the filthy meat and for our taste it was not for the better. The tuna was quite salty due to the soy sauce that they added, but it must be said that it was on point and the piece of tuna was very large (I almost prefer less tuna and a little more potatoes), the octopus was very good and the desserts also. They charged us €21 for the bread that we had not ordered, when there were only 2 baskets with a maximum of 6 loaves in each.. In the end we paid about €300 for 9 adults and 2 girls who hardly ate. For drinks we only had beers and soft drinks. Regarding the service: 2 waiters for this huge room that has seems very little to me. At first everything was fine, we went when there were hardly any people and the food came out quickly and often. But once all the tables were full no waiter passed ours anymore. We had to wait half an hour until we finally went to talk to the man behind the bar that the waiter sent us. They were totally saturated, one waitress for drinks and the other for food with about 50 people in the room I don't want to say it's bad but we went with some expectation and we left disappointed. For someone who has never been it is surely very good, but for us who know and love the old Mandingo we expected authentic food and we received food adapted to tourism. Unfortunately we won't be back.. I wish they would go back to what they were before."

Comida casera con un trato familiar. Variedad de comida que no sabe uno que elegir. Esta la opción menú que es igual de recomendable. También tiene asador para las carnes. Los postres variados, caseros y abundantes. Cuando regrese a visitar nuevamente esta magnífica isla no duraré en repetir. Muchas gracias por existir.
