We have been twice at this beautiful place. Great Interpretation and presentation of local and international Food. Great eine selection, service on highest standard. A must to visit in the Rheingau- River Rhine Area. Congratualtion to the Team.

What a great hotel. The rooms are large for Europe. The food is amazing from an experienced chef. They ahve a nice wine bar where you can purchase local wines at a reasonable price (and the local wines are really good). I highly recommend the...place.

Have had a couple of meals there all were tasty and very good, including risotto and fresh pasta. A great location to eat with a nice outdoor area if the weather allows, but it's also cozy inside. They have a vinothek for wine tasting...and buying local wines, and the service is really helpful and friendly. Excellent overall!

Warm welcome, wonderful atmosphere perfect for couples, friends and even business. Simple menu, outgunned by an extensive wine list. But don't let the simple menu fool you. It is superbly executed- with a focus on quality local ingredients, superbly cooked, beautifully presented and showing the...chef clearly knows his craft This is a restaurant that punches way above its weight and is well worth the drive (even from Frankfurt). Do book though.

had a very pleasant experience with my man for our jubilee. the restaurant was very well appointed with candles, fresh flowers and even the perfect lighting. that may be something, but so important to put the right mood. the wine card had some. excellent local selection and our waiter made fantastic recommendations! our food was also everything I had hoped for, suppe was hot and delicious, fish was expertly prepared, desserts were both pleasant and not too sweet! we're back! it was between lunch and dinner on a Saturday when many restaurants were closed in eltville when we chose eltvinum and we were not disappointed. the complete menu was available and we chose different things from the menu of the day via a...cold platter with charcuterie to pasta. each individual dish was very good, especially the soups and they have a very nice selection of local weeping to make reasonable trips. if they are in the opposite (eltville is word a visit), they cannot go wrong with eating in eltvinum.

As you enter the restaurant located in the middle of the small sleepy town of Eltville, you are impressed with the modern decor from outside. We were here for a fixed Menu dinner but the chef had prepared an Amuse Busch. the starters with the...aperitif wines outside had been very impressive outside-especially the pumpkin soup. Every dish was served efficiently and the wine service was amazing. I didnt want the veal cheeks as suggested in the Menu. The Chef rustled up a similar fish dish which was very well prepared. The dessert was also outstanding. Great food -great service. Must visit for a bit of contemporary food-with several local wines.

We visited Eltvinun thinking that the food was good the last times we were there, so it would be great to take our friends that we had not seen in a while there. We didn't know that it had changed ownership since the last time...we were there. Not recognizing any of the people, but still remembering that the food and the staff were awesome, we ordered and proceeded to interact with the lady who seated us and took our order. She informed us that the restaurant had new owners . Then brought us a complementary soup. It was amazing. And so was the food. The service was wonderful.
