"We found restaurant Emilio here on Tripadvisor, and we understand why it is number restaurant in Dortmund. The food was great we had starters, pastas and dessert, all of them delecious and very well priced. The daily specials are changed...every days, and are made of what fresh products are avaible and cooked to perfection. One thing is the food, which you cannot put a finger on another is the service which is outstanding. After days in Hamborg, where we ate at different gourmethighend restaurants, it was at Emilio we got the best service on our trip. The waiter was very welcoming, was very good at English and made you feel very welcome. He picked out to very good white wines, both which matched the menu beautifully. The place was a lovely place to be, with smiles and laugther, and the food was served quick. If you are in the area of Dortmund, this is a must try it doesn’t get any better than this"
