"Visited this establishment on the 30/12/2023 for breakfast with the. Family all I can say what a diabolical breakfast for the price ,rationing went out in the war ,the amount of beans in the bowl was unbelievable,1 scoop I asked for a bigger portion and the boy serving returned with a similar portion as first, on my plate was 1 slice of bread , something that resembled scrambled egg ,1 scabby piece of bacon well cooked ,burnt offering I asked for the manager who never appeared so I just asked for my money back ,let's just say I won't be returning to this establishment for breakfast in the future there are far better establishments in the town who do a much better value breakfast i left with no food utterly disgusting experience.The photos on the menu are edited as it. Looks like nothing what you get on your plate .I would definitely recommend going to other cafes in the town .There is a much better cafe a bit further up with the near enough same price breakfast but you get way more and better quality food ."

"Usually the food is really nice here, was very disappointed with our last visit, the table was not cleared until we were ready to place our order and then it was not wiped down not happy at all. Needs to work on staff customer service also. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Asked for sauce, finally got some in the fourth bottle they brought.Burgers are cheap and greasy. Needed multiple napkins to clean up.Chips are undercooked and obviously frozen as middle still hard and cold.Steaks for our party came out looking cooked but were still mooing and roaming the plate. The gammon steak was also still raw in the middle.Meals all came out at different times.The only positive was the desserts... Well pre-made Ice cream which are just dropped into glasses."

"Basic room for decent price of £45 for 2 adults. Wasn't told it was two single beds when booked a room for two, there was 3 various preused shower gel bottles available, there wasn't any fresh toiletries, and bin was half filled with rubbish upon arrival too.... but customer service was friendly n very helpful, and staff upon arrival were welcoming too. Beds were clean and comfy (woth quilts, not sheets) plus we was supplied with 4 clean soft towels and ample overnight storage which included quality wooden hangers. No smoking in room, but cute outside smoking area easily accessible (although the light sensor could do with a wipe so it can recognise movement before people need to use steps to get to seating). Need to be able to climb stairs to get to either of the two rooms, which wasn't told about first (though they wasn't informed I had physical disability or I'm sure they would of told me before taking booking) Didn't need to pay until morning after stay and it was a shame we didn't have time to have breakfast for only a fiver extra per person. Bar downstairs appeared to be clean and welcoming, although we was not there during opening hours to experience it for ourselves. Overall, a good n clean n safe value for money overnight stay, and will probably use again soon if allowed to put single beds together or be given an actual double bed"

"I readily accepted the invite to the special afternoon tea, having been before and enjoyed it. On arrival we were each given a ticket, before being shown upstairs by a waitress dressed as a Hogwarts pupil great start. A full size cut out of Hagrid greeted us at the top of the stairs, with Severus Snape just around the corner directing us to the Great Hall . The tables were decorated with Daily Prophet tables cloths, with menus printed to resemble the Marauders Map absolutely brilliant! The lights were hung with floating candles such attention to detail. The food was all Harry Potter themed, starting with pumpkin soup, and there 's even a golden snitch to finish. absolutely wonderful! Well done Bedwellty House."
