excellent place. the personal was nice and helpful eating was high quality would certainly recommend trying this place for a meal. they will not be disappointed

great for lunch. I was twice for lunch now and both of them were very good. that is excellent. go for the fish they cook well, I have not tried steaks, but if they can cook fish, steak is recommended a doddle.

they just come home from a meal at the forge, eat, good price, fantastic staff, great atmosphere....loved the place cant believe that I have lived in southport for 40 years without never being! comes back 100%. Thank you.

My Husband an I found this place via google an we were so pleased we did, 5* is not enough to award this place, Clint the waiter was great an the fillet steak we both had was out of this world, will definitely visit again when next in Southport, thank you for a lovely evening.

what a sound! so desperate after a quality meal. and this restaurant has not disappointed. it found it in the internet and it lived so far as its reviews. amazing menu. attentive staff...loving ambiente. and a meal prepared by a very extraordinary cook! a lifting experience. .holy recommend it! x

What a diamond in the rough! I was rather worried when we turned into a little side alley, but who knew such an amazing restaurant was hidden there! The mussels in white wine sauce where tremendous and the seafood platter was just delicious. I definitely need to go back to try everything else this place has to offer.

wow! this place is a hidden little jewel! the service is excellent, the place is beautiful and the eating is to die! had my first experience of oysters, pure and cooked, as part of the seafood plate for two and wit can not express how amazing the eating was! enjoy it so much that we have a table booked again this week the best place for fresh, wonderfully prepared seafood by far!

a fabulous hidden gem. in anne queen st, this is a busy watering and feeding hole. great welcome, great atmosphere and great staff. never before, but recommended, not disappointed at all. massive menu, large selection of farewell. offer buffalo steaks what? real buffalo?until yes was the answer. more beautiful taste, but even rare how tough to chew than flip-flop. the house made apple pie custard brilliant. interesting decoration. loud, heaving near the bar, brilliant service. a worthy tipp. street parking in the city center.
