The food was amazing. The service was lovely. This is the perfect place to get your "German Food" experience. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful. The BEST Weiner schnitzel I've ever had. Highly recommended to foodies.

We had gluhwein in many places but not with the same aroma and flavour as here. The beer was also great. Both main dish and dessert were delicious and nicely decorated and the owner was very friendly. I definitely recommend it!

The restaurant has really amazing food. Simple in decor until the food arrives. The manager explained that the cuisine is from a specific southern part of Germany. The presentation and care taken in the preparation is seen on the plate and presentation..

I had the carp, which was fresh and not at all muddy, with a lovely glass of Riesling. Sadly I was too late for the daily special - a huge hunk of pork on the bone with Knödel and Blaukraut which several other people we're enjoying. The place is quite small, very local, and the proprietor very friendly, despite my awful German! (He speaks pretty good English)1All in all a great experience.

The food is excellent (we tasted the Franconian stewed pork shoulder and the Sausages) and the quantities are more than suffisiant. The service is good (nice and discret) and the prices are very competitive (related to quality). The beer (home made) is excellent and not so expansive. Wine is also fine. One last word about the place which is very cosy (quite small). Typical but modern. A very nice experience !

Made reservations, walked in atmosphere was great so we ordered a couple of Franconian draft beers(my favorite). The waiter suggested the pork shoulder, which is why I came and the fried carp, which I have enjoyed in Franken. Our beers arrived in beer steins that were taller and thinner than normal - and very light. Soon found out why. They were less than half filled with beer, the rest foam. I brought this to his attention, he doubted me but topped them off with more foam. My twin brother Stephen and I had been at the world famous Berlin Beer Festival ( Biermeille) when we reluctantly decided to move on to some of the many great craft bee bars that this wonderful city has to offer.
