"This restaurant is welcoming and specialises in local food of character. I have enjoyed several memorable meals here and one fantastically organised family party that ran like clockwork. The interior is informal, traditional and cosy with a bustling atmosphere at weekends. You are assured of...a warm welcome and attentive service by the owners. Try the Hessenteller' for a plateful of selections of Hessich food wash it down with a draught beer or Riesling wine. Aid your digestion with a scnapps or grappa afterwards. I highly recommend Kaufmanns if you're staying in the area."

"after all that so darkened, of course I had to test this device, we sat outside the beautiful operation also brought us the drinks quite fast. we chose from the menu a chili chicken with pommes and salat, as well as a mushroom carving with pommes and salat. the half of the chicken was covered with fried chili rings and was otherwise a real paprika chicken, it tasted, but I certainly fed better chicken, especially crispy! from the spicy it was in order. now to my man: his carving had a certain taste, the taste used could not be recognized. in any case, we certainly found this completely inappropriate for a deft jägerschnitzel, my man was very disappointed. it smelled almost christmas, very strange. then, at home, I smelled a similar aroma, in a dark Asian spicy sauce (no soy sauce! there I realized that it was on the list of the ingredients of the sosse: it must have been staranis. to drink we had two big cola, believe it was 0.5 ltr. then a small cola and a latte macchiato and all this together for € 27,00. from the price you can't say anything. but tastefully we both didn't find it so good. but we go back because it is not even."

"Wir sind spontan über TripAdvisor auf diese Gaststätte mit deutscher Küche gestoßen und haben spontan einen Tisch bei gutem Wetter im Biergarten telefonisch reserviert. Als wir ankamen waren nur 2 Tische besetzt und wir haben daher noch die Chance erhalten, einen noch besseren Tisch, im urig gestalteten Biergarten zu finden. Wir sind schnell zu einer Entscheidung gekommen- Handkäs und Äppler lachte uns an.Diese wurden uns auch zeitnah an den Tisch gebracht. Resultat: ausreichende Portion mit weichem, gut schmeckenden Käse und guten Apfelweingeschmack inkl. frischem Bauernbrot. Zum Schluß haben wir uns die neu restaurierten Restauranträume angeschaut. Diese wurden hell und auf Shabby Style eingerichtet. Diese strahlen eine gemütliche, freundliche Atmosphäre aus. Der Service an sich war sehr bemüht. Des Öfteren wurden wir gefragt, ob alles okay ist und ob wir noch einen weiteren Wunsch hätten. Das einzig Negative war die Reaktion der neuen Wirtin (Tochter der alten Besitzerin), die plötzlich sehr unangenehm auf die Erstellung eines Fotos der gemütlich eingerichteten Räumlichkeiten reagierte. Zwar wurde zuvor meinerseits gefragt, ob ich einen Bild der schönen Dekos machen könnte und dieses wurde mit einem Ja beantwortet, aber die Chefin sah dies wohl anders. Deshalb auch nur ein Foto der eingenommen Speisen und Getränke. Gerne hätte ich noch den Rest für weitere Besuche anderer Gäste eingestellt, aber gut man muss den Wunsch akzeptieren. Die Homepage ist auch noch im Aufbau, deshalb gibt es weiter keine Fotos der Location. Fazit: Wir hoffen, die neue Chefin wird demnächst nicht so negativ auf "gute Werbung" reagieren. Heutzutage ist nun mal die beste Werbung, das Benutzen von Tools. Kann mich nur den Vorgängern anschließen... Nette, gemütliche Gaststätte mit guter Hausmannskost. Sicherlich werden wir die Gastronomie noch einmal aufsuchen."

"Very bad. The story is longer. TLTR: Not child-friendly, no customer orientation, incorrect billing. Full story: We go to family once a year. We were in September for “before the food”. The food was great, we were with 3 children and there was a lot for them too. We booked for Christmas and asked for the map. Comment: Yes, reduced, but for everyone. For Christmas we arrived there, with 5 children and various adults. First Aha Moment: The door to the hall was opened, and one sat with the table half in the gym. The children enjoyed it, they had room. But the mood was solala. Then the card: with a rich name, a noodle dish for almost 17€, the rest went from 22€ and the rule was around 30€. Nix for children. The demand for what for children was answered only after the 2nd time with question in the kitchen with pommes or noodles Bolognese. After some of the adults were unable to get friends with the map and also ordered noodles of Bolognese, it was denied because you would not be a "baby" and that is only for the Babes (by the way, the children were between 3 and 11). The question of small changes to the shell was rejected: Rumpsteak without mushrooms, only herbal butter does not go! It was a hammer. No vegetarian dish on the map, no small changes of dishes, and that with quite complicated compilations where you can not be all. It was asked to have an aperitif. My mother-in-law followed what nobody had right. Ruckzuck had all, including the children, a champagne glass with a kind of Grenadin juice(?) Not touched the children, but found himself on the bill with about 5€ per glass. My baby stone butter was very good. However, with just over 30 euros ambitious. In the end there was no voice before and back. Too expensive noodles, too much water bottles that we had shared from the family, each bill was wrong. That's a shame. But I can't do that better."
