"What a gem! We went there for lunch, nothing was too much, food was fresh and was so tasty! Cakes are homemade and are absolutely delicious! We also took home cheese scones, again home made and were delicious! Coffee was amazing too! The lady who served us was lovely and so accommodating! Always a smile on her face : I can’t rate this place enough! Defo visit if you are in Bourne and fancy tasty food and coffee! We will definitely be back! Oh a side note cafe was clean and had a great atmosphere! Loved everything about it! Well done wild heart cafe!"

"Visited for dinner with my husband, very excited as had heard so many good things about this place. Setting is lovely, pub is beautifully done and very cosy. It was very busy when we got there for our table booked at 6.30pm but that felt like a good sign. I’m not sure if the place has 2 set sitting times because when we booked there was a caveat that the table needed to be handed back by a certain time, which I can’t quite recall but on paper it felt like plenty of time. Once there however it felt very rushed, bread and starters came out at the same time which was weird and I just felt like staff were trying to hurry us along all the time. At one point I placed my knife and fork down to take a sip of drink and the loitering waitress immediately leapt on me to ask if we’d finished, even though I had half a plate of food left and my husband was clearly eating. I had heard so many good things about the food here but honestly it was only ok and very expensive for what it was I felt. Sadly we left feeling disappointed which was a shame as it is a beautiful place."

"Never been disappointed here. The service is always spot on. They even placed the hot dinner plate away from the young child at our table for safety. Food is of an excellent standard. Presented well, piping hot and so so tasty. Another thoughtful serving technique they remember who ordered which dish so it is placed by the appropriate guest. Advisable to dine early as it can become quite noisy when fully booked. A very tasty alternative to the normal Indian style food, lighter. Photo is of the tandoori king prawn starter. ."

"We visited for Sunday lunch about three months ago and had a wonderful experience. We decided to go back based on a friend's enthusiastic recommendation of the fish finger sandwich. Unfortunately, we were all quite disappointed this time, as the sandwich seemed to have shrunk by about 75%! The portion sizes were very poor overall, and while the desserts were enjoyable, they were also quite small. Additionally, our table was sticky and hadn't been properly cleaned. Perhaps we were just unlucky on this occasion, as it seems there has been a decline in standards. Thank you for your quick response; we would be happy to give you another chance since we have always enjoyed our meals before. Maybe there was a different chef working that day? As for vegetarian options, the nut roast was the best we've ever had!"
