"We've been here a couple of times before and it's been great, however our latest visit was not a great experience. Portions were small, presentation wasn't anything special, looked like meals I could of in nocked up myself as a quick tea at home, nothing special at all, certainly didn't look like a restaurant dining experience. Also, never come across a restaurant that stipulates on the menu if you want steak they need 48 hours notice! And even if they do, they should tell people when they book in as we had 2 of our party very disappointed on the night. The whole dining experience was also ruined by a group of loud, drunk locals sitting in the dining area and talking and swearing at the top of their voices so we couldn't even hear ourselves having a conversation. If people have paid for a dining experience no matter how bad that was, they should not have to put up with a table full of loud, swearing locals who were just there for the drink, keep the two things separate! Really dark and dingy in the restaurant, we struggled to read the menu due to how badly lit it was. The waitress started the evening by telling us what wasn't available off the menu, which in itself seemed odd at the beginning of the weekend to of already run out of so much. Needless to say this one bad experience overshadows previous good ones, it looks like the place has gone down hill, we won't be back! Must say though this is by no means a reflection of the staff they were lovely, it's on the owners!"

"Overall, this was a lovely meal (last night). All of the staff we interacted with were super friendly and welcoming. I can see why they would have loyal customers on this alone. The food was reasonably priced and overall very nice… Just not the best compared to some other Indian restaurants I’ve been to. The decor is in need of an update the chairs all look like they were taken from a skip and the paint spills over from walls onto the plug sockets and windows. There are lights missing from parts of the ceiling. However, this doesn’t lessen the charm of the place these are good, hard working people who put out good food and good service. Everyone was also offered a free shot of Baileys on departure from the meal."

"This is a very mixed review. The food at Rabia 's is excellent and we 've dined there before. But we will never go again. The payment and leaving processes at the end of the evening was ugly and unacceptable. It turned what had been a lovely dining experience into a poor one, one that I will long remember, but not at all in a good way. First, I noticed a significant difference between the itemized bill they gave us at the end of the meal and the credit card voucher that they process. There was no explanation, but when I asked (after waiting several minutes to get the server to come over, even though there were few customers at the time), I was told it was a 4% 'credit card fee. ' I 've never had this at another restaurant and it was not stated either on their website or even on the credit card voucher. Second, and even more costly, when we got to our car at the Haymarket (Parcel 7) Garage, they said our parking slip was NOT validated, even though staff of Rabia 's had told us twice that it was. I tried to call the restaurant that we 'd only left 10 minutes before and just got put into their voicemail. Again, they were not at all crowded. When I talked to the manager the next day, she denied any responsibility for anything. Her attitude was an immediate 'not my problem, ' to everything we discussed. Too bad. A restaurant with such an unwelcoming attitude will not last long."

"Received a voucher at Christmas off friends for a meal here which we used today, and went for a breakfast. My wife had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, and i had the special breakfast, both with a white coffee and an orange juice.. I can honestly say i have not seen so much food on a plate in a long while. Everything about it was cooked to perfection for me, as was my wifes. A good strong coffee as well to accompany it. Everything was spot on. Nice clean place with friendly staff , will definately be making our way here again for breakfast"
