This is the safest and most enjoyable dining experience they have had during the new normal. Had a very relaxing couple of drinks today and will definitely eat here again. They even have an on-site barber if you need a haircut! Fantastic job and well done!

We dined at the restaurant last night, July 31st, to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the visit. I enjoyed it so much that I plan to return for my birthday dinner, and will even bring my mother along on Tuesday.

I don't think that a pub would have done more to offer its guests a brilliant new soon-handed in the garden, hand washing facilities and well-removed tables for the new normality. the staff was super helpful, everything very well organized and as usual great beer and eat. felt completely safe and had a wonderful afternoon. well made halfway house? highly recommended xx Visualizza piatti

I felt somewhat apprehensive about going back to a pub for the first time since lockdown but the Halfway House have got absolutely everything covered. Not at any time did I feel ‘at risk’ and was able to enjoy a full pub/dining experience the way it should be. Well done to you and all your staff for prioritising our safety and making sure we had an enjoyable afternoon. We will definitely be back soon

This country pub is fantastic, with authentic beer that is hard to find these days. The Sunday roast is delicious and surprisingly affordable. I was shocked at how good the value was, especially when my pint of Guinness only cost £4.80. There is a large car park and overflow parking across the road. The average price per person is between £20-30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5-star rating. Plenty of free parking is available.

I have been living near this pub for 25 years and have passed by it countless times. I finally decided to stop in with some friends after a long walk and was pleasantly surprised. The interior of the pub is charming and they have a great selection of beers on tap and delicious bar snacks like hot pork scratchings. The food was just okay, with a lack of butter in the sausage sandwich, but that shouldn't deter you from visiting. The atmosphere is great and the service is top-notch.
