The pub was large, but felt warm and cozy with a friendly atmosphere. I had a huge mixed grill for only £12.99! I can't wait to go back. Those complaining should go to The Savoy if they want better service. What do they expect for just £10? Great value for delicious pub food!

Went to a charity evening to support Mens Mental Health. A great evening superbly organised by Molly, ably assisted by Cad and AJ. Huge amount of money raised and a great night had by all. Only issue was the wait. I was informed before I ordered, but they should've said no. I waited 45 mins for my starter, then a further 1 hr for my main course. Food was excellent, beer was reasonably priced, pub was immaculate, service was excellent. Only spoiled by the waiting. Better to have lost a potential customer than to serve one who won't be happy. We waited for an hour and a half for our food because the chef had walked out. There was only one chef working in the kitchen, leading to long wait times. The restaurant offered a 50% discount on mains to compensate for the delay, but we eventually decided to ask for a refund as our meal had not even been started. The lack of communication from the staff about the situation was disappointing.
