Uitstekend, gezellig restaurant en zeer goede service. Met vrienden 4 verschillende menu's besteld, samen gebracht en lekker, een aanrader!

We were traveling in a large group and about 25 from our group stopped in at this restaurant for lunch. They did well with so many of us at one time. The food was average. I had the penne pasta with veggies & marinara sauce. Hubby got a veggie pizza.

Dit is geen gastronomisch restaurant, je verwacht m.a.w. geen gastronomie. Toch was wat we aten niet echt wat je er kan van maken. Kon beter gekruid zijn (pizza) en Calamari Fritti eet je toch niet met reis? Waren trouwens ook veel, veel te zout. We gaan niet direct terug. Visualizza piatti

Après une déception dans un restaurant asiatique de Boppard, tenancier très désagréable à la limite de l'incorrection nous sommes allés sur le bord du Rhin où nous avons manger de très bonnes pizzas. Le personnel est accueillant, le service impeccable et rapide, très belle vue sur le Rhin. Vous pouvez y aller en toute confiance

This italian restaurant offers average food at not so low prices. My starter had peppers in it which came burnt. My paella was very average. My wife's saltimbocca was good. Waiters were not very friendly, they gave the impression they were trying to copy waiters in Italy. In this street (Rheinallee) there are much better choices, at similar or lower prices.

Gemütliche Sitzgelegenheit direkt am Rhein. Die Innensitzplätze sind auch gemütlich.Ich war mit meinem Rinderfilet mit Peffersosse nicht zufrieden. Die Soße schmeckte sehr nach Senf und nicht nach Peffer. Habe noch nie ein solch schlechtes Peffersteak gegessen.Ich war schon öfters hier zum Essen und war ansonsten zufrieden. Nach einem als unterirdisch zu bezeichnendem Erlebnis im Karmeliter Hof landeten wir für etwas "Kleines" abends gegen 21:00 Uhr auf der Veranda der "Krone". Der Service war schnell, freundlich und wir konnten aus der kompletten Karte wählen. Die Weingläser waren sauber poliert, ganz anders als im Karmeliter Hof, und das Essen lecker und gut. Das Essen ist aus meiner Sicht nicht überragend, aber solide, lecker und einfach gut. Preis und Leistung total in Ordnung, das Servicepersonal spricht, lächelt und kommuniziert mit den Gästen. Auch ganz anders als kurz zuvor im Karmeliter Hof erlebt. Wir können die "Krone" also uneingeschränkt für ein solides Essen empfehlen.

We stayed 4nights at Hotel Zur Krone in a Riverview room on the 2nd floor. The views through the window to watch the cruise&cargo ships sail along the Rhine were excellent.The bedroom was spacious with tea& coffee making equipment provided while the bathroom had a powerful shower but beware of the step leading into the bedroom (as my partner fell down it & injured her foot)The buffet breakfast was excellent - lots of hot &cold choices including cereals, scrambled& boiled eggs, bacon, croissants, cheeses, meats, yoghurts, juices, tea &coffee.Although we didn't eat in the restaurant we had a "nightcap" each night in the pleasant bar where you can sit indoors or outdoors. Stopped by coincidentally for lunch and menu looked enticing, so went in - no more room on the balcony with view to Rhine.Even inside there was a table for a group plus us 4 and potentially others, but service was kind, prompt, professional.We had wine by the glass and a large bottle of San Pellegrino water, no starters. The older couple had pasta with salmon, the less old couple pizza (gorgonzola spinach with black olives) and calzone. Was promptly brought, even parmeggiano offered with the pasta (and accepted with pleasure and served by waiter and elft on table which I like) and spicy oils for pizza and calzone.
