I have to admit I wasn't expecting much but they had a Saturday night slot available at short notice and we fancied a night out. I was EXTREMELY surprised. I had prawns to start, which I cannot fault. I chose the venison for main. I should mention that I lived on venison for many years when I lived in Zimbabwe but I don't think I've tasted anything to equal that which I had this last Saturday (in Earlswood, not Zimbabwe! . The cheesecake I had for sweet was as good as I've had for some time. The staff was very pleasant and not over the top as some can be. The price was commensurate with the quality and I thought, reasonable. I would certainly go again, and would not hesitate to recommend it to you lot!"

king prawns in brandy cream for dying, and a ribeye steak could be cut with a lolly stick. a really nice place to eat.

For the 2nd running we had our department's Christmas meal here. What can I say. Fabulous atmosphere, warm and friendly staff, fantastic food.

Chose this favourite pub of ours for our Australian friends to enjoy good home cooking. we were not disappointed! delicious Sunday lunch with lots of crackling for my friend!!

Excellent Christmas lunch for 18, our plates spoke for themselves!. Food was piping hot the service excellent. We have all come away saying we must go back. Well done The Joshua Tree.

New of its existence but never visited before last weekend. This is the second visit in a week. Beautiful food well presented, sauces are to die for. All in all the best restaurant for miles.

the best pub in the city! I had my high-time reception there on June 18, 2015, kevin, tracey and her personal made us proud! also kevin was my men the best man on the day! fab, fab day and made everything better by making it on joshua tree, with all workers and eating and day and night was great!

After we were let down from a previous restaurant, we started to call local pubs for somewhere for 6 of us to go, that was close to my mother in place. I'm so glad we found this jewel of a place. good and service was excellent with what seems, nothing is too much difficult to set up by the staff. it is our first visit, but I can assure them that it will not be our last.
