The pub itself was great and enjoyed visting but the carpark management soured the visit so I would urge caution if staying there and using the car park. My daughter and myself stayed a night here on our last night in the U.K after some other interesting stays. This establishment was a 5Crescendo to our holiday. What a send off. I’ve dined here twice recently and was quite disappointed with the food on both occasions, so I won't be returning. The pizza was undercooked and barely resembled a pizza at all. The halloumi wrap featured battered halloumi, spicy hummus, and excessive sweet chili sauce, masking the flavor of the halloumi entirely. During my second visit, we opted for bar snacks, but the chips were pale and undercooked, and the halloumi fries consisted of just three small pieces of halloumi on a plate. If they can’t manage to prepare a basic margherita pizza or fries properly, I question whether they should really be serving food.

If I could give this restaurant a rating of 0 out of 10, I would. We ordered the Sunday roast, which included roast beef and chicken. After chewing the beef for ten minutes, I had to spit it out because it was so tough, and the chicken was so dry it nearly fell apart. The food was absolutely terrible, and we ended up paying £54 for two adults and a child. We definitely will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this pub to anyone in our village. "Disgusting" is a polite way to describe the food and the price we paid. It was awful and extremely disappointing. In terms of both food and drinks, it was a bad experience overall.
