La Giostra - Menu

Con una temperatura piacevole, gli spazi ampi del ristorante sono un piacevole inizio. Buona pizza (ma ognuno ha il suo metro). Servizio veloce e gentile. Prezzo medio. Era da tanto tempo che non mangiavo al Carosello e ci tornerò.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per pranzo. Il posto è solo vecchio, una bella ristrutturazione gli farebbe bene. Servizio nella media, piatti abbastanza buoni e prezzo giusto. Non c'erano aspetti negativi, ma neanche cose che rimangono positivamente impressionati.

I quite liked the warm antipasto : it was bread with some toppings , and then I ordered some meat and spinach, I suppose it was not the worst, but not exceptional. They have some tables outside , and the service in general is ok, they have cooked my meat some more when I asked.

I recommend it if you are near or passing since it is handy and has got a large parking site and the food is above average but remember: when I was there with some friends they had no bathroom for people with mobility problems and we had to fight to take a boy down the stars and back up by hand to reach the loo.

Abbiamo mangiato la fiorentina, la carne era eccellente e ben preparata, ottimo vino rosso Torcalvano Pancole Rosso di Montepulciano 2017 che si è abbinate perfettamente alla succulenta carne, tagliatelle con porcini buone.. i dessert erano tutti eccellenti.. servizio professionale e amichevole.. assolutamente consigliato..

Questo è un ristorante da non perdere a Firenze! La sala da pranzo è magica, molto romantica. Ottimo servizio professionale, il manager, Soldano, si è assicurato di passare con tutti i clienti, il che ha reso davvero speciale la selezione di vini. Tutto era delizioso, abbiamo avuto l'antipasto misto di bruschette, tagliatelle con ragù e lo spettacolare T-bone fiorentino!! Consigliatissimo!

Along the road between Arezzo and Sansepolcro, with a large parking place, this restaurant has been refurbished with pleasant fine country style interiors. Wide windows and space among tables. Toilet is a bit unconfortable (dowstairs) and also a bit dirty. Poor telephone network in the area, and the day I was there wifi was out of service. A delicious first dish and a good selections of vegetables in a buffet. What a pity that the television was on, although nobody cared: just annoying.

You might need a GPS listing restaurants to find this one. We were looking for another place that was closed and found this one by accident. It was crowded with what seemed to be locals but the service was great and I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. I had a steak with asparagus sauce with mixed salad, while my lady had prosciutto with melon. I drank beer while she had mineral water. The food was excellent. It was late June and we ate outside as the weather was nice and this was a meal to remember.

This review is a little out of sequence with my travel itinerary but I am keen to let other travellers know what to expect at LA GIOSTRA. We stopped here for lunch. We were advised by the waitress that we could have Menu of the Day which comprised of a Pasta to start followed by a small piece of meat. There was a buffet which she did not advise us was part of the menu. So we had just a small piece of meat each for the second course. When I say small I mean SMALL!! When we went to pay we were charged A La Carte Prices so we ended up paying more than double what we should have paid for the food consumed plus coperto on top example: 8 euros each just for a tiny piece of meat without vegetables....
