Our first visit to this outstanding restaurant. Absolutely top class on every level. The host and chef (owners) were unbelievably passionate about their family business. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be going back very soon.

Had the venison stew with mushrooms and creamy mash potatoes. It was absolutely gorgeous. I have never tasted such a rich, full flavour with incredibly succulent meat. The most amazing meal! Cannot recommend it enough. Will be back...

What a treat! I did the 8 course tasting menu with my Mum. Before you site down at your table Cinzia talks you through the dishes you can have for eat course and how the Italians dine back in Italy. The passion for there culture really shines through and I love that!! This is a tasting menu that you will not leave hungry from!

La Locanda is quite simply one of the best genuine Italian restaurants in the North West. The menu is authentic, the food delicious and a great wine list compliments the dishes. The Service is prompt, friendly and the staff always happy to talk customers through the menu. In the cosiest of settings the restaurant is big enough to feel vibrant and small enough to feel intimate.

A fantastic food and wine experience in a truly stunning venue. The food is prepared to perfection and served with love by Cinzia and her staff. The home made authentic bread; the olive oil; the wine; the fresh pasta; the fish…… everything we tried made us feel like we were dining in Italy. A must visit to truly appreciate this little gem. They use imported olive oil, cheese, and other ingredients blended with local suppliers. The menu is accompanied by a fantastic wine selection (I suggest trying the chilled red sparkling Bonarda!).
