"Wir kommen nun seit über 20 Jahren ins Allgäu und waren schon etliche male hier essen und waren immer begeistert vom Schweinebraten, den Kässpätzle, dem Schnitzel, dem Bier usw. Nun waren wir vor einer Woche wieder zu Gast und waren leider alle mehr als enttäuscht. Wir haben den Geburtstag meiner Mutter gefeiert und waren 11 Personen. Wie schon von einigen anderen erwähnt konnte der Tisch nur für 2 Stunden reserviert werden was natürlich sehr schade ist wenn man einen Geburtstag feiern möchte aber wir wollten aus besagten Gründen trotzdem gerne hier essen. Aber einen Tisch nur für 2 Stunden zu reservieren ist in meinen Augen auch nicht wirklich gastfreundlich sowas gibt es selbst Samstag Abends in Stuttgart nicht. Die erste Enttäuschung war dann schonmal, dass es leider gar keinen Schweinebraten auf der Karte mehr gibt sondern vermutlich nur noch an bestimmten Tagen? Natürlich findet trotzdem jeder was zu essen aber wir waren es eben anders gewohnt. An unserem Tisch wurden dann insgesamt 5 mal die Käsespätzle bestellt und alle 5 waren entsetzt vom Geschmack und der Konsistenz. Die Käsespätzle waren total wässrig und haben nach überhaupt nichts geschmeckt, selbst mit einer dazu bestellten Bratensoße nicht. Die bestellten Cheeseburger waren dagegen gut aber eben kein Schweinebraten. Von der Bedienung wäre es auch nett gewesen, wenn sie uns darauf hingewiesen hätte, dass wir bald den Tisch frei machen müssen als wir kurz vorher nochmal Getränke bestellt haben. So mussten dann einige ihr Getränk noch in sich hinein schütten. Auch die Location ist nach dem Umbau für unseren Geschmack nicht wirklich gelungen, dadurch ist einfach das urige und traditionelle verloren gegangen. Zumindest auf der einen Seite, die andere Seite wurde ja (noch? nicht umgebaut was dann eben auch zu einem ungleichem Bild führt. Auch den Sudabend der immer ein absolutes Highlight war wird es laut der Bedienung wohl nicht mehr geben was auch sehr schade ist. Ob wir hier nochmal zum Geburtstagfeiern oder Essen kommen, werden wir uns vermutlich nochmal überlegen denn wirklich billig war es natürlich auch nicht da gibt es in der Gegend inzwischen deutlich bessere Restaurants...wirklich sehr schade."

"the restaurant is located on a light hill with a beautiful view into the valley and on the mountain in the background. we sat at sunshine and 20 degrees on the terrace and were immediately served friendly. our 3 year old daughter liked the slide that is attached directly to the terrace. 2-3 other children also played there and so all kids were busy, but without disturbing the other guests. the carving was very delicate and crispy. there were thin slices of tortoise crispy baked. Just delicious. also the cakes can be seen. all at one like we found very cheap price. who is in the opposite should not miss the burgcafe. Must-have in allgäu!"

"the hotel krone, which offers very large modernized rooms, also has a beautiful restaurant. there are currently two vegan foods, an salad bowl and a burger. Eating is very high quality prepared and has clear restaurant quality. also the demand can be ordered new, e.g. bratkartoffeln without speck. the prices are appropriate for the ambient, but nothing for the small wallet. at the burger for 13.80€, for example no pommes/brazen potatoes included. but otherwise everything was great and I'm glad to stay here."

"I am in principle skeptical for exaggerating landgasthaus-Seligkeiten and above all to speak host house-names. who once told me to visit a place with the subtitle “Zum singen Host”. by the way, too wrong in that case. now you can jump over your own shadow. especially if a good call and enthusiastic reports are almost gone by friends. “For funny deer” practiced landlust and tradition with a certain augence-enriched but serious professionalism. it feeds quite wonderful and especially excellent. only a pity that the gas house is so much in the pampa at a place of the city in the allgäu that they already have to be motorized. but my guide has actually realized that 2x also runs a bus daily. Maybe not the worst option if they think that not only beer, but also wee and weeping chor are served in big sticks. and the delightful offer of high percentage is read on every table at the stand. table reservation is easy to obligatory. as I was told, some evenings will take the tables 2-3 times in succession. because this is local. every Thursday is the night of the cat. the gas can participate in the production and then the mixture can be filled up to nix more. or the doctor comes. the cheese originates from the near cheese factory polzer – in the rule a rezente mixture of mountain cheeses of different ripening and emmental is used. the spikes are not scraped or pressed as in the Swabian, but with a special device. looks simple, but exercise can't hurt here either. this legendary home dish I did not plan myself, but with great joy myself destroyed 9,50 euro for the huge part, including small salat. the cats are served in a beautifully decorated ceramic bowl, which has such an enormous capacity to be framed that you simply have to fail. the service offers of course to pack the rest immediately. but what odeur would spread the doggy bag in the sunwarm car, I don't want to introduce myself. I therefore abstain. Unfortunately, the leaf salad tastes smooth and blown in a tasteless, aqueous dressing without aroma. That it was also different, I look at the neighbor – there are colorful mixed salads that suggest varied and creative arrangements. today is a large bottle of allgäuer alpenwasser, still, from the close-up – with the subtitle “s'bludde” for a change drunk. in high German: without carbonic acid 3,80 euro. after that is really necessary a digestion. the service is so reminiscent of cordiality, joy of life, openness and naturalness. ask will be honest and spontaneously answered, details will be resolved quickly in the kitchen if needed. everything goes quickly from the hand: this is enough of the menu to record the order, to use it and to take it off later. I never have to wait an unnecessary minute. in this case, the impression of hectic does not occur. it's just like smashing. on the way to the ordinary, rural toilet I can catch a view into the kitchen. looks professional, clean, super organized. they can also stay in the house. but I will refer to the homepage. in the summer months, a sunny panoramic terrace overlooking the mountains offers a magnificent view. the „Alpe Höfle“ is also part of the operation in the polz above the above mentioned mountain cheese and the mountain farm museum, which I have already reported here at the end of May 2017. there are also dedicated work, but there are only vesper, broth, coffee and cake."

"Wir waren im Urlaub im Allgäu, und sind am Rückweg von Center Park ohne Reservierung vorbei gekommen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir waren zu 6 und es wurde sofort möglich gemacht einen Tisch zu bekommen. Hier bei La mammà wird tatsächlich von der Mama gekocht wird haben ausgiebig gegessen mit Vorspeise Nachtisch und haben keine 150€ bezahlt. Zu 6. Also Preis Leistung absolut gegeben. Sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gutes italienisches Essen. Wir haben von Fisch über Pizza alles bestellt und es ist alles zu empfehlen, die Portionen sind sehr groß."
