Always buy my Chinese hereand it's always fresh hot and tasty. Man can be a little abrubt on the counter but I have no complaints with taste and sizes

Fantastic food shame about the rude and totally ignorant man who answers the phone and serves, he needs to get some customer service skills along with some manners.

Following a Chinese takeaway meal for me and my partner recently, we’ve both been feeling unwell from the extremely high volume of monosodium glutamate (salt) for days now. We won’t be returning!

Having been using another chinese takeaway in the village we thought we would try this for the first time, not disappointed at all, portions was bigger, food was better and prices are reasonable, lams has won our custom

there are not many Chinese places that i can say are that good but this place saved me from my experience in the pub next door , and i have to say it was most nice and the food nice and fresh. We've been using Lam's for years, and it always used to be great. However, the last few takeaways we've had have been really bland. It'd been a good few months since we'd had one, so thought we'd give them another go to see if things...had improved. They hadn't. The food was, again, really bland and tasteless. We won't be going back in a hurry.

Ordered a takeaway although personally never confident about British ‘Chinese’ takeaway food, but it is what my father-in-law wanted and this is his local. Everything was very poorly prepared, bland, greasy and heavy and did not resemble what Chinese food should be. Food is SO...important to orientals and am very sad for those reviewers who give high ratings here as they clearly have never tasted well prepared Chinese food. With the high profile of good cookery from around the world in the media these days I struggle to understand how places like Lam’s are still getting away with conning the British public!!

Due to having to move out of my area due to I tried Lam's Chinese. The food is quite expensive for what it is, but was reasonable in taste. The items I had were rather small portions; I got the hot appetizer (for ..at nearly for that I got and a half rib (which taste really nice, just not enough a few pieces of prawn toast (again nice, not enough), small crab claw (were okay), and a small mound of seaweed (quite sweet! The Chicken balls were the best out of the order; the sweet and sour source was very nice (nice and thick !!
