Our server did not speak English and we speak minimal French so that was a bit of an issue but overall I think we were able to manage. The eating experience is just very slow. Took almost 2 hours for lunch.

The restaurant is amazing, the staff is very helpful and friendly and the food... so good, wine was perfect and the bar, very good music lots of people and you don’t hear the music when your in the dining area.. perfect will absolutly go back.

Went here for lunch and had the 2 course menu de midi which was great value nice airy restaurant. space outside as well if you want that no real problems to report other than it is probably going to difficult in the restaurant unless you have a decent grip of French Visualizza piatti

Going to be hard to find a hundred words to write about a short stop for a beer and a shandy. Let me try. When asked during a busy lunch the waiter gave us a reserved outside table in the sun. This kind of kindness with a smile deserves a good review. I would certainly go back to try the food.

Seated inside the restaurant we enjoyed great service and lovely food. The service was brisk without being rushed, and the owner (presumably) spoke English to us despite my best efforts in French. He was amusing into the bargain! We had two courses and the food was beautifully presented. We came out feeling we'd had a great meal and experience.

We discovered this restaurant around the corner from our hotel and had the most delicious meal. We had gravelax de saumon for entrée followed by Entrecôte de Veau avec champignons with a beautiful vacherin au fruits rouges for dessert. Delicious food and excellent service. Eventually found this place after walking around looking for a restaurant that has more options of different dishes. The restaurant was fully booked, however we were lucky enough to be offered outside dining. The French waiter was also English speaker translated the menus helped with the choice of wine. This was our most memorable evening ! The staff worked so hard but remained calm, efficient friendly.

We were looking for a restaurant, liked the menu, and decided to try Le Cinq. What a great choice! We had a delightful waitress, Shannon, who was attentive and helpful. My husband had a wonderful Cesar salad with freshly fried chicken, I had a veal steak with silk mashed potatoes. We both had the rich and delicious creme brûlée’s for dessert. The food was great and we would definitely recommend it for dinner.

We stopped in for dinner tonight at Le Cinq for our last night in Bordeaux and we are so happy we did! The wait staff were lovely, especially the non English speaking rather theatrical guy with glasses (no name tags) he was awesome. I did appreciate the fact once they knew we were non French speaking, they bought out an English version of the menu which was a nice touch. My husband ordered the duck ravioli which also had caviar in it and was served with an amazing tomato sauce with so much flavour, it really is the best ravioli we’ve ever tasted.
