"we went to the brasserie le nord in the night of December, in the hope for a nice dinner. our reservation was with us were minutes early and was said to wait outside until the restaurant officially opened. with us. in a large room on top. we ordered a glass of champagne that was completely warm and lyon specialties that were incredibly disappointing. it tasted like bad cafeteria lives. after the main course came a large table of people and was asked to sit right next to us (while the large room was still empty). we told the waitress that it would have been nice with covid and everything if they had the tables a little distance, and the waitress answered very rudely that it was a brasserie and it was as it should be. from there we just wanted to walk out of the restaurant. the dinner was ruined. we asked for the check and paid money quickly. the waitress began to run after us, with a credit card terminal in the hands, screaming that we should pay with a card, we should come. we told her we had already paid and left and thought it was one of the worst culinary experiences of all time!"

I was really disappointed. The food is mediocre. The presentation nothing special. I found the menu to be quite boring and the meat a bit dry. They had our order wrong twice... not bad but won’t go again

Reas in love reserved in advance. For gin lovers, a lot of interesting proposals. Flavoured meals, velvet mushrooms and waffles... with their caramel and whip... Very good meal, with always this bunny to fall.

Maisons Bocuse, a reference to Lyon. However, I had asked for 2 cups of champagne when I was booked by the Internet, we never had them, and the table too benchal, it was the party menu that served as a table foot. For the rest, it is perfect, very good products, very well cooked, professional service and impeccable. The 4 course menu is of unbeatable quality. I highly recommend.

lively, stylish but classic brasserie. we have glasses with red-white wine. my friend had saucisson in brioche, side of the kartoffels, and frisée salat with lardons. I have duck-foie grass and fillet steak. service was good. maybe a corresponding comment that...the restaurant feels a bit like a conveyor belt, that is, not relaxing. the tables are closely connected. that said we cost it.

I don't say that easily. that was one of the worst meal times I've ever had. the service was shocking. eating was cold and it was lacking care and attention. we chose the carte formule and the cochon was really fat and the bresse huhn boiled under. I was. shocked so shocked we did without saying anything because we thought nobody would listen. they must hear this evaluation and do something about it quickly.

This was the most expensive dinner that we had in Lyon but it was just lovely. The food was probably the best that we had during our stay the usual suspects but a bit more refined than your typical Bouchon. Our waiter was great....Professional but with the ability to turn a minor disaster into a piece of fun theatre! Everything was beautifully done, and it was all thoroughly enjoyable. A fitting finish to our stay.

we went to le north because we wanted to eat on a paul bocuse reataurant. we had visited other restaurants during our holiday in lyon, which served delicious meals but not anny bocuse restaurants. we had great expectations. we were not convicted. and weeping was excellent. the reason why I do not give a full partitur is that I have experienced the same great food in all other restaurants we visited in lyon. le nord served good food, but in my opinion it is not anny other of the restaurants I visited. in my opinion, it is only different that it is somewhat more formal in its atmosphere.

We really liked the food we got, but we felt the service was too rushed As soon as we set down we got the menu. We went for the course daily menu. We ordered and minutes later our first dish was served. A...bit prompt, makes you feel you are in a buffet restaurant where everything is already ready. Within minutes we got the main dish and when they took our plates away, almost immediately the dessert followed. We understand there might be shifts and that the next persons for our table would be coming within hours but it just does not feel nice to shove courses of food in your mouth within minutes. And apparently after all there was no real rush because when we wanted the check, we had to try...

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
