We spent a pleasant evening on the terrace. We took the 1/2 lobster (2 people). The 2 portions were really small, very little to eat on the lobster. It was more like half a Langoustine. So, for this dish, we remain hungry. However, the server was very professional and very valiant. Very nice wine list and the menu is also interesting.

Bad recent experience: the service is not up to par, the waiters rarely come to take care of you and do not take down orders correctly. There is very little choice on the menu, the food is served in small quantities, the steaks are not cooked as ordered, the food is bland and without any interest. Difficult evening.. After a reservation problem, (truffle evening) the dinner to celebrate a birthday starts as it should with drinks. Unfortunately the beer that had just been served landed on the pants of one of my guests. The waiter apologizes.. but the evening is a little ruined because the pants remain wet and it is not pleasant. End of the excellent meal, the bill... I remain perplexed, coffees are not even offered to us, and no one offers to clean our pants… this is generally done. I am not disappointed with the cuisine but I am very disappointed by this total lack of commercial gesture..

Very expensive abode unless France is inordinately cheap. Do not agree with the restricted bi-modal menu. Overcelebrated a l'americaine mode. Few people were eating but were enthusiastic and not popular eatery seekers. After all the Boul.Helvetique is away from the scenic, currently deplorable, lake littoral....The shrimps (tiger) with the saffran risotto were very very good, the lobster merely ok, slightly uneasy. The steak passable. The wine selection was more than adequate and their counsel of value. The deserts very good. Taking into account the aestival closures it was an excellent choice. Plenty of space indoors in a red clad chamber (if memory serves)

Just finished dinner , we had the pate and the lobster bisque as an appetizer. I didn’t taste the soup, the pate was okay. My sister had a “lobster risotto “ , way too much butter, I had the sole , was delicious, for deserts...we had the thin apple tart and the special mille feuille. Apple tart was very good and while I had the mille feuille 2 hours ago , I don’t even remember it ! The service is impeccable, the decor hasn’t changed in over 40 years The specials tonight ranges around 60. each , they definitely put themselves in the top 15% of restaurants and it’s not worth it. I can eat and I do at the Four Seasons or the Mandarin oriental and get better food for the same price or even less... Visualizza piatti
