"We have been using, R36 a lot through lockdown. It’s fantastic, we love it and the kids too. New menus choice, although live earlier you planned is an absolute winner.?? Always really tasty and warm and always ready at time specified. Great combination with sister company le petit cafe too. Long overdue review sorry!"

My husband and i just had the soup toastie lunch deal, omg the tomato soup is outstanding, never have i tasted a tomato soup so delicious and the toasies were filled with delicious fillings. thankyou so much id luv your tomato soup recipe if youd part with it lol

I placed my order at 5:50 PM and was not informed there would be a two-hour wait. By 7:50 PM, my order still hadn't arrived. I tried calling but no one picked up, and then Just Eat informed me that the delivery would be at 8:30 PM. This is my first and last time using this service.

"Unfortunately, I will not be returning in a hurry. Having previously enjoyed a meal at their restaurant in Carluke, we were excited to try this one. However, everything from the decor to the food and service fell short of our expectations. The food was mediocre at best, nothing particularly noteworthy and definitely not as delicious as what we had experienced in the Carluke location. The waitress appeared disinterested in serving us, more focused on other things happening around her. After our main course, we decided to find another place to dine. We may give it another chance in the future."

"This was by far the best Chineese around for about 15yr ish but the past six years ish it’s became hit or a miss. I think they must have two chefs one good and one not so good. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s inedible. Sometimes the fried rice has spring onions and sometimes did doesn’t. Sometimes the lemon chicken is lovely and sometimes it’s dried up and horrible. I’ve heard a few people that have the two chef theory and I suggest they work which one isn’t up to scratch and get rid of them before they loose business. I am not sure how basic things are not consistent in the same restaurant. Such a shame as you were constantly brilliant!"

"We ordered a take away at 4:30PM for collection at 5:30. I arrived at 5:35 to be advised they were only just starting to cook it then. It should have been ready to collect at this time as requested. The restaurent was chaotic, another customers order had been lost and she was complaining, the owner came out and shouted at the staff that there were orders waiting in the kitchen. I waited 35 minutes and eventually complainted about the delay. I eventually received my order at 18:10 (40 minutes late). We do like the food here and I understand it was busy but IMO this delay is unacceptable. I had two hungry kids at home waiting to eat and it wasn't fair to make them wait this long. I won't risk ordering from here again given I don't want a repeat of this saga."

"Food is always superb here. Portion sizes are big and we find we don't need a starter or dessert! Might do a starter and a dessert next time lol. But then again we're not big eaters. "I had a rather disappointing experience at The Clydesdale Inn in Lanark. The outside temperature was in the mid-20s, and despite having air conditioning in the room, we were told it couldn't be switched on. To make matters worse, the windows didn't open, creating an extremely warm and uncomfortable environment with over 30 people in the room. What was particularly frustrating was the lack of concern from the staff. We were informed that we couldn't open the fire doors due to regulations, which I know, as a business owner myself, is more of a recommendation than an actual breach. It felt like the management and staff could have made more effort to ensure the comfort of their customers, especially in such uncomfortable conditions. Overall, this experience left a lot to be desired, and I hope that The Clydesdale Inn considers its customers' comfort and well-being more seriously in the future."
