exceptional. a small village restaurant that doesn't pay a mine, but the dishes are succulent. it is rare to find such good dishes at totally reasonable prices. owners are very welcoming. In short, a very good address to keep!

"Service a little long. It must be said that the server (the boss) was alone to serve about 20 covers and hold the bar. We arrived around 1 p.m. and unfortunately 3 out of 5 dishes were no longer available. We were obliged to take a camembert in the oven and the charcuterie, which turned out to be rather a gustative success and a good surprise!. The most of this establishment is its shaded terrace under a lime tree and other trees. When it is beautiful (very often) it is great. It is relatively easy to park for free in the adjacent street."

"We took the time to drive into the hills behind Nice going towards the Italian border and found at lunchtime this delightful restaurant opposite the church on the main road through La Brigue. The food was excellent and the suberb wine from Bandol was chosen...by the waiter, who later introduced himself as Roberto the owner with his wife Laurence cooking in the kitchen. We knew that we had found a great and relaxing place to eat when the restaurant and bar was filled with local people who were warm and friendly. Unusally for France, this establishment catered very easily and quickly for the vegetarian in our party. The food, wine and atmosphere in the resturant was magnificent as well as being inexpensive. This made a fantastic break during the day and this is a place that I definitely recommend to others. Next time that I visit I will book a room in their adjacent hotel and make a day and night of my stay"
