"We had a lovely relaxed family meal here to end our holiday in the region on the 11th August. The glorious converted barn made for a relaxed dining area. All the food was well presented and delicious. We noted it was not heavy on seasoning; the fresh ingredients being allowed to do all the talking! Sardines, squid, lamb, steak tartare and local cheeses were all tasty and well presented. The organic Bordeaux wine complemented our food nicely and was reasonably priced. Service was very attentive. For us this is what a trip to France is all about!"

good meal with promotion of Norman products of the land and the sea. the tables are wide enough to have an impression of intimidation while being in a large room. the menu is limited but varied and the ingredients are of quality.

Very good food with organic and local products. A varied and appetizing map. A rural atmosphere with a quiet and relaxing environment. A team and a passionate and listened leader. You can discover the concocted dishes of the products of the farm La Chèvre Rit. I highly recommend.

Nice discovery for a party in mind. A warm welcome, a map that makes the choice difficult (due to return and beautiful plates. Recipes designed with fresh and local products, in brief as I love it. The most: enough space between the tables to be in his universe. Anyway, I love it and I recommend it

Placed next to the farm 'la goat rit', this restaurant reproduces its products and those of other local producers whose list is given in the menu. Just cooked dishes. Corner salad, breaded goat, beef tartar and homemade fries, grilled sardines and mille-feuilles. Everything was good. Gives the urge to try what could not be already. It is better to come early to enjoy the terrace and book. Visualizza piatti

We were looking for something more authentic than most of the more commercial offerings in the area and this place delivered. Lots of local ingredients (farm next door) pulled together with skill and love, attentive but not intrusive service. Goats cheese and goat mozzarella starters were delicious, mains of risotto (prawn) and a goats cheese salad and a chocolate fondant all delivered great taste; great value; we will be back before we go back home!

Restaurant in an old barn that has charm. There is also a terrace for those who want to eat outside. With regard to dishes there is not a large map but what is proposed is amply satisfactory. For quality there is nothing to say, we feel the freshness of the products. Prices are not high. There is even a child menu (sauce of Frankfurt, fries, ketchup) with a choice of drinks and an artisanal dessert ice. For the service, the owner is pleasant and unlike some restaurants she knows the products she serves. I recommend

"It was 6pm on a Saturday in Granville and we hadn't booked a dinner table. Before we arrived in town we hadn't appreciated that it was boat show weekend in Granville and the place was rammed with visitors from all over France. Having seen this place's great Tripadvisor reviews, I wandered in off the street at 6.15pm to find they were fully booked. But they nevertheless offered us an early table at 7.15pm, to be finished by 9pm, which suited us fine and was very much appreciated by a hungry family of four. The location is unpromising - behind a large public parking area opposite the industrial fish shed on the port - and the restaurant looks small and not particularly special. The interior is fairly dark and subdued, but has been stylishly refurbished. We found the the welcome, the service and the food well beyond expectations. The set menu consisted of about five choices for each course. We all opted to take all three courses for €32. Most of the courses are seafood-based, as you'd hope and expect. Our starters were excellent - two crab and two smoked bass - and the main courses equally good. We both had grilled turbot, perfectly cooked, while our kids (10 and 12) had steaks which were of very high quality. We shared four different superb desserts. The wine list was quite small but with a decent range. We had the chef's recommended St Romain at €34 which worked really well with the fish dishes. The service was attentive and friendly throughout, and our kids felt very welcome. One point to note - an earlier review mentions a kid's menu. In fact the only menu available to us was the standard set menu. This worked fine for us, but if your kids are still building their sense of culinary adventure, it might not be the ideal place for you! We really enjoyed this place and we'll definitely be back."
