"I had reserved in the beer garden and knew before I would come half an hour later. So I called in the restaurant and told you that. "as ever all come en je niet goed kunt uitdrukken in het duits of italiaans (engels spreekt men niet) ben je niet erg welkom here, ze lachen je liever uit dan dat ze je netjesen. he was een tafeltje op het terras maar the net vrij was gekomen waar ik ben gaan zitten. de lege glazen will be opgeruimd maar verder werd de tafel niet schoongemaakt, iets wat ik erg slordig vind. bij het order byd de ober het noodzakelijk mij in mijn uitspraak met rollende ogen te verbeteren. de bestelde pizza was great. de fooi heb ik deze keer achterwege gelaten, iets wat ik zelden doe."

"Revision ina March 2016: We learned that the restaurant is no longer operated by the then owner. Original review: On the occasion of a trip to the beautiful Allgäu in spring 2012 we visited the Ristorante and Osteria Antica in the Landhotel Hirsch in Kempten several times. The hotel, where the very spacious Osteria is located, is located on the left side of the road, which leads from Kempten to Lenzfried already on the outskirts of Kempten. On various evaluation portals Osteria has experienced various reviews, but consistently mostly positive contributions. For my terms, I am a really good Italian who offers a variety of different Italian specialties and often organizes great events such as weddings, first communion, birthday parties and the like. It seems very extensive. It is therefore recommended to make a reservation in time. But also as an unloaded guest you are welcome and try to find somewhere in one of the guest rooms a place where you can still be accommodated. At least according to my experience, the service is not contested at all. The staff I and my wife found very helpful and competent during our numerous visits there. Even food recommendations have not disappointed us. Both all pasta dishes and meat dishes were first-class prepared and very tasty. There are also frequent daily meals depending on the season that are not listed on the regular menu. The Montepulciano D`Abruzzo, which we enjoyed for the dishes, also turned out to be one of the better qualities. Our result is definitely recommended. If we are in the region, we will certainly visit the Osteria Antica again. We cannot provide any information about the quality of the hotel. Addendum in December 2014: According to friends, the restaurant in Landhotel Hirsch is no longer operated with the name Osteria Antica, because the owner is to be deceased. Too bad."
