"a cozy, black irradiated room with open log fire that shared the room, set the scene for our dinner. the table, beautifully laid with tablecloth and linen serviettes was a tasteful setting for what is considered a pleasant, if rather fill meal. after a long journey our ricard aperitifs were well received, as were the “Amuses Bouches”. madame and I were in our choice of the escaped ones; a typical French dish of tete de veau, kalbs zunge and sweetbreads served with a delicious sauce ravigote. it was a generous part and my ess mate would have preferred a smaller portion, especially as she had chosen a main course of guinea fowl. my turbot on sorrel sauce proved to be easier option and nicely cooked. a beautiful bottle white cotes du rhone has both meal well received. we decided to leave the cheeseboard that was great, and I was alone in a dessert – the ubiquitous crème brulee. service was friendly and efficient throughout."

"Thanks to the advice of tripadvisor I went the eyes closed, excellent place, I found that it was missing in yvetot a warm, welcoming place, clear decor, I confess the sky was of a nice blue....Sincerely I note excellent on all points, reception service, kitchen, hum the leafy to the black gondola, pistachio... and the addition. sincerely this is a pleasant place"

"fell on by chance on a Saturday noon and after a tripadvisor consultation I could see that chance does well. copied, fresh (soils of the small port), cooked house including bread ( excellent), pleasant service, wine map adapted to the proposed dishes and very correct prices. short as good and want to go back. small gauge (20 covered) so essential to book I think. a priori the person who makes the service in the room is also in part in the furnaces so little question about possible waiting times in the event of a shooting. Very recommendable."

"This is a very convenient restaurant if you are staying at the B and B hotel next door. Nice welcome and menu in English, handy if you're not comfortable with French. The manager however also speaks fluent English. We took his recommendation and had the smoked lamb, it was delicious!. We started with pork rillettes served with toasted french bread. Lovely. My husband finished with an ice cream, served in a dish the size of a small washing up bowl!!!! Coupled with the 15% discount from the B and B made for a good meal. The fact that the restaurant filled up very quickly with local families spoke volumes."
