excellent eating in the local restaurant. second visit in 4 day trip. I think that's what it says.

Abbiamo trascorso una bella serata nell’Osteria. Il cibo è molto saporito e il personale è cura e molto cordiale. Torneremo a Napoli nel nostro prossimo viaggio.

Dal momento in cui si è arrivati al ristorante, il servizio è stato eccezionale. Il cibo era gustoso e sorprendentemente conveniente. Il personale era attento e cortese. Chiaramente la migliore cena che abbiamo avuto a Napoli.

Delicious honest memorable. How I wish I could write that in Italian. Such charming patient service. Such great food. Extremely good value. Decent wine a half bottle of falanghina, two antipasti, pasta con gambas, gorgeous desserts. 10 out of 10.

L'intera serata è stata un'esperienza fantastica. Paolo è stato estremamente paziente e disponibile. Quando il menu è stato scritto in italiano, ha spiegato ogni piatto in dettaglio e ha anche mostrato foto di alcuni piatti. Ha inoltre portato diversi vini al tavolo e li ha spiegati nello stesso dettaglio. Inoltre, il cibo era ottimo e lo stesso valeva per il vino. Alla fine del pasto, suo padre ci ha prenotato un taxi e ha aspettato fuori con noi fino a quando è arrivato. È stata sicuramente la nostra migliore cena a Napoli Sorrento. Visualizza piatti

the restaurant opened a few minutes after 20:00 clock with the lights that turn on at 20:05 clock. our reservation was at 20:00 a.m., so we did not see the restaurant at all until we realized that we were lost. when we google maps consulted and turned around, we saw that the owner turned the light on. After he was greeted by the cook or owner (we have no idea who he was) he cried to the waiter to tell him that he is going around with us. lucca is obviously the only person who speaks English and the owner has not even tried to speak Italian with me (what I actually speak) eating itself was good. the quality and preparation of the meal were high and we enjoyed every cure.

Il ristorante ha aperto alcuni minuti dopo le 20:00 con le luci accese alle 20:05. La nostra prenotazione era alle 20, quindi non abbiamo visto il ristorante finche' non ci siamo resi conto che ci siamo persi. Quando abbiamo consultato Google Maps e girato intorno, abbiamo visto il proprietario accendere la luce. Strano. Dopo essere stato accolto dallo chef o dal proprietario (non abbiamo idea di chi fosse), ha urlato a Lucca il cameriere per dirgli di occuparsi di noi. A quanto pare Lucca è l'unica persona che parla inglese e il proprietario non si è nemmeno preoccupato di provare a parlare italiano con me (che in realtà parlo). Il cibo stesso era buono. It was our last night in Napoli and we headed down to L'osteria with rumbling stomachs ready for some delicious Italian food. My word were we not disappointed. The best way to end our trip. We arrived and our waiter, I think his name was Davide (excuse me if I have spelt that incorrectly), welcomed us with the biggest smile and sat us down in the cosy back room. There wasn't a menu, just the recommendations from Davide. Fried courgette flowers; basil and pea arincini balls and, honestly, the best croquettes we have ever eaten they were like little fried clouds. We moved on to our pasta mains and it only got better.
