Love Walk Café - Piatti

This is unique place and they offer what they re best of it. My sweat-corn fritter is not somewhere you can find it.

A perfect find for a Valentine's weekend, this bustling and friendly corner cafe offers a wide variety of wraps, falafels, paninis, and other tempting options.

The restaurant serves delicious coffee, has friendly service, and the pancakes are really good. Their English may not be perfect, but the pancakes are definitely worth trying.

I decided to stop by for a chai latte, but the staff's reception was disappointing and unwelcoming. The highlight of this cafe is the talented barista who makes excellent coffees. It's great for a quick visit, but the atmosphere might not be welcoming for everyone. I wouldn't recommend it.

We live locally and have been coming on and off for a few years; it’s usually our favourite place for a well priced breakfast. However more recently it’s not been as good and prices are increasing significantly. Today was terrible, it’s now £3.70 for a coffee and £6.50 for a smoothie, the owner even said prices are going up to £7 a smoothie! The food was also really poor undercooked eggs and halloumi and soggy fritters. No table service either. It’s such a shame as we used to love it here but now won’t be returning. Visualizza piatti

Our hotel did not serve breakfast, but the host recommended Love Walk Cafe as a nearby alternative. And so we went on a sunny Sunday morning, and chose to sit outside and enjoy the October sunshine. It was already very busy, and I was concerned that it would take ages for our breakfasts to arrive. I needn’t have worried, as our food came after what seemed like only minutes. We had the full English and the Love Walk Cafe omelette, and we were both very pleased with the quality. Very impressed with this cafe, it’s food and it’s very efficient service.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was handed a menu and instructed to find a table before going back to the counter to place my order. Despite being 78 years old and walking with difficulty due to a knee issue, I managed to follow these instructions. I do believe that the waiter could have taken my order given the circumstances. I opted for a sausage sandwich and a strong English Breakfast tea. The order arrived promptly, suggesting that the sausages were pre-cooked and of average quality. Unfortunately, the tea was disappointing even after the barista assured me that an extra tea bag would be added to the pot. Walked in to buy some pastries which were positioned to the side by the entrance. I was almost immediately asked whether I wanted to eat in or take away; on replying that I wanted to take food away I was ordered to wait at the till which had no food on display and from which you couldn’t see any of the aforementioned pastries. I was then asked what I wanted and when I replied that I wasn’t sure given I had effectively been told not to look was meet with a bemused stare and had a menu, which contained pretty much only hot food, shoved my way.
