"Food drinks: As a party of seven, celebrating a 40th birthday, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our meals and the customer service. We were greeted by the manager who showed us to our table. She is a fun lady and spent several minutes chatting with us. When she took our food order she paid particular attention to the meal choices of the children to ensure they were happy. "Someone who stays over at the Clive Arms every Christmas and loves it, recommended it to me and knowing I was going to be in the area, I booked myself in for a Sunday lunch treat which was absolutely delicious. I chose the pork roast from the Sunday Set Menu (2 courses £25 or 3 courses £30) and wasn't disappointed. There are plenty of other options available. Fresh, quality produce roast pots, roasted swede, braised carrot, seasonal greens, separate sml dish of cauliflower cheese, yorkshire pud and gravy. For dessert I had Walled garden damson apple crumble with custard (GF), also delicious. Ice cream option also available. Looked to me like it's had a recent refurbishment which has been done to a high standard and is very tasteful. Liked this place very much and will definitely go back"

"smooth jazz from the ludlow jazz collective. more general starter of crabs and austerity whipped with the dark crab into a sose. nice. bark meat was delicious. pretty fat, but that makes it so succulent, and there was a lot of meat. no place for pud, but the bavarois and the affogato both looked beautiful. the personal was also nice. will go again to visit the amazing burg, go the beautiful landscape and finish it with dinner and more jazz."

"During our first visit to lunch (14/2/2023) I couldn't find a mistake at the service or at lunch. The wine selection was good and the food (steak for main and smoked trout rillette for entree) was excellent so delicious and well presented. The waiting staff was also attentive. During our second visit to lunch (we would like to come back so much) I was very disappointed. I ordered the chicken with potato daphinoise (or similar). The chicken itself was good, but the main reason I ordered this item was actually for the potato accompaniment. What I received was a half of a roast potato and a plate full of mist cauliflowers. Very disappointing. This disappointment was also aggravated by the fact that none of the waiting staff were looking for how we enjoy the meal and if everything was satisfactory or not. The disappointment was even worse, as our expectations for a repetition experience of the first time we have been denounced here were very high. The main reason for my bad review is that the article I received does not match the description of the article on the menu and no waiting personnel checked with us to see if we were satisfied with the meal."

"The small Pokey Square likely has a lively atmosphere during busy times, but unfortunately, the food and restroom situation leave much to be desired. We ordered five tapas dishes, and the fried potatoes were bland and tasted as if they had been frozen. The prawns were okay but small in quantity. The bread and oil seemed like something you'd find at a pre-baked banquet—not exactly special, and certainly nothing a basic cook couldn’t prepare. If they used fresh seafood, better bread, and improved seasoning, I would have a much more positive review."
