Great food but very slow service. We waited 45 minuites! Lots of staff all dashing around but dnot paying attention to the tables.

Lovely, really good service and delicious good food, farm shop also worth a nosey! Dog friendly outside. Good friendly service, easy to book a table and easy to find.

Consistently enjoy trips to Mackenzies always plan to eat something different as many lovely plates of food are served but I invariably stick to the fish platter or seafood sandwich, both generously proportioned and really tasty. Easy, friendly atmosphere and good service. The food...and gift departments also recommended!

My mum treated us to a truly lovely lunch at Mackenzies this week. We both opted for the fish sandwich which sandwich was stuffed full of very tasty … and I mean tasty smoked salmon, poached salmon and prawns accompanied with yummy homemade chips. (Choice...of white or granary bread much to my mums delight) A lovely friendly service too, all in all the perfect lunch. The shop has a fantastic array of local produce along some more specialty items from further afield. I highly recommend a visit.

This place was signposted on the A59 so we thought we’d visit and followed the directions. It is situated on Hardisty Hill, just short of a mile from the A59. We had a fabulous breakfast at the restaurant lots of choice on the menu,...with something for everyone. We chose the Farm shop big breakfast everything was freshly prepared and the homemade rosti was incredible and the best we have ever tasted. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully set out and every member of staff we met was courteous and genuinely friendly. We live in Sheffield but intend to revisit this cafe every time we visit Skipton or Harrogate. Kim and David

as a party of 6 we had lunch in the mackenzies yorkshire smokehouse. we booked a table 2 days in advance and we were so satisfied that the restaurant was almost full on a weekday. after our meal we realized why it was so. bushy! without taking off, our food was so delicious. some of us had the seafood sandwich on granatbrot with hand-cut chips. the sandwich was full of hot salmon, smoked salmon and garnel. so tasty! a couple had Wagu-Rind with horses mayonnaise on ciabatta. mackenzies is five stars in every sight: it is in a beautiful opposite of north yorkshire; it has plentiful, good parking; it has an excellent selection of shopping opportunities about fresh meat and vegetables, deli products and gift items. we had booked a table to breakfast and were met by a very friendly heart who showed us on a table in the winter garden. we chose both the full english that the simple but essential three boxes for me a good cooked breakfast, ie first-class ingredients, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. while the breakfast goes, this is as good as it gets, and as tasty it was considerable enough to eat much redundant later on the day. from cooking points, eating...

We had booked a table for breakfast and...were met by a very friendly gentleman who showed us to a table in the conservatory. We both chose the Full English which ticked the simple but essential three boxes for me re a good cooked breakfast, ie top quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and nicely presented.
