Best place locally by far! Food is of a high standard but not over priced. Smart and friendly place to go and spacious. Always go here now and can’t recommend enough.

Really good overall experience, good food, perfectly cooked rare steak and chicken wellington mains especially, good friendly service, a local business well worth supporting.

on Sunday, we had a long time. beautiful atmosphere, very welcoming. the personal is beautiful. we were a few times and the standards were always high. the day menu is also delicious. Come back!

another beautiful meal in the kings head in dursley. a great place to spend a Sunday noon/night with the family and always a real pleasure to bring our dog. I really enjoy the butty bach (real ale) they serve here. Eating was always good. I would highly recommend!

There was over twenty of us for a meal we had to pree order what we wanted days before but on the night the service was poor and the food well don't go there if you like food it was awful. If you go there just for a drink and you don't mind some of the local cliantel that would be ok

the first time on this place on the last Sunday for lunch. I wish I had been here before. beautiful decoration, friendly and efficient service was nothing too much annoyed) all with a smile. the true triumph was eating. perfectly boiled roast beef and veg and a beautiful passion fruitcake. delicious, thank you, we're back.

Looks newly renovated, and has been done really nicely. Food for the price was excellent! Good range of Ciabattas which come with chips and a decent salad, light meals and mains. Really good range of drinks too. Bath and St Austell beers. Service wikl undoubtedly become a little slicker... that's not aimed at the lovely lady behind the bar, but it was just her largely. Anyway, not enough to start dropping a star and look forward to going back.

was a couple of times and eating is too sensible to praise. the last trip was for the vatertag and the complete frying dinner was fantastic. although it was busy, the service was great and eating as well as ever. as coeliac I even got a complete frying dinner, as I had a gluten-free yorkshire pudding and also seoparate gluten-free flower cauliflower cheese fantastic! Believe me, this is often not the case with most places just remove the gluten-containing items from my meal. well made cook!

cold food . didn’t understand what being coeliac meant , the chef and the bar staff had no clue . forgot our drinks , had to ask them when our food came after 30 minutes of waiting didn’t have stuff on the menu , not enough options for people with dietary requirements and they had little knowledge of what it meant . They had barely any stock of food and I kept getting told they didn’t have stuff . Then was offered a pie which I had no other choice than to have as we had paid for our meals . We were offered little sympathy and we felt quite awkward . Not professional at all ! Waste of money for frozen food that we could have cooked at home .
