"I cannot review the food or service because we were unable to book a celebratory event recently. The management informed us that children are not welcome to these lunches. The rationale is people want to enjoy their little special moments without children disturbing it. This is a bizarre attitude. We booked instead at the Globe Inn Wells. They were super child, dog family friendly. The food was superb. We also booked at Socious which was super amazing with much better food service than we receive in some top London restaurants"

Stayed for a night in the small double which was very nice, clean and well equipped. A soft bed. Had dinner in the Michelin restaurant with the wine flight, again all very good. The Sommelier made some excellent choices to go with the already great food. The breakfast the next morning was also very nice. Would definitely recommend. Food drinks: Superb quality food, the chef makes the effort to come round and talk to the diners, which was a nice touch.
