"Had a lovely lunch for 14 of us at the weekend. The staff were very accommodating in offering an alternative to Pizza for one of our Gluten Free guests (they can create a base if you give them 48 hrs notice I believe) and produced a fantastic antipasti platter. The pizzas are delicious and there are many options. One of our pizzas was not made correctly and again this was quickly sorted out and a new one made. You felt nicely full afterwards and not uncomfortably stuffed!! If I could suggest 2 improvements that would be to have water on the table and more easy access to pizza cutters but I still give it 5 stars as everyone said how much they had enjoyed it. I look forward to visiting again can't believe I've not been before."

"My first visit after the Deli's Easter weekend refit the launch of their eat in service. The new arrangement gives the shop a pleasant, airy feel, despite the introduction of the tables and the new menu which accompanies the service has something to appeal to everyone. Together with the daily specials menu, the diner is spoiled for choice! My wife went for the Ploughman's Platter whilst I had the Thai style salmon fish cakes with new potatoes, coleslaw salad, served with chilli sauce. Absolutely delicious full of flavour. The Ploughman's Platter was a real feast of ham, pork pie, a number of cheeses, pickled onions, salad, crusty bread chutney! Both meals offered exceptional value for money. Delicious coffee to accompany the meal St George's Day cupcakes to take away for a late dessert! Utterly lovely! Highly recommended. Give it a try. Soon. ;"

"Our first visit was wonderful. The steak was excellent, as well as all the other dishes. I highly recommend trying the lobster dish as a side - it was amazing! I want to thank our waitress Paige for taking care of us. She was very professional, attentive, and a young woman. "Pleasant ambiance, friendly staff although no sign of social distancing and the tables too close for intimacy. Reasonably prompt service considering the restaurant was quite busy. I couldn't find a menu on line but there was the usual range of dishes one would expect in the average Indian establishment. We both chose a Biryani and were brought a substantial meal. The steel bowls weren't hot so the meal was cooling giving a greasy texture to the rice. Perhaps the chef was trying to emulate a Lucknow or Kolkata Biryani as spices were sparingly used. On the other hand perhaps the local taste is for bland tasteless sauces. Either way I'm afraid it wasn't a pleasant experience, and that extended to the accompanying vegetable curry. I've munched my way through some memorable curries in the last 60 years, from Delhi to Kandy starting with the famous Veeraswamy in Regent Street. This won't be one of them. On the positive side there was plenty of protein with notably succulent tender lamb, and the onion bhaji (which I'm very partial to) was excellent."

"I was quite disappointed. I usually enjoy coming here, but my recent experience was not great. I had made a reservation for food and drinks, but upon arrival, we were informed that they couldn’t serve food because the kitchen was too busy. We were then directed to sit by the window as there were no tables available for dining, even though we had a reservation. We waited a long time for our drinks, and it felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. It's a shame because I typically have a wonderful time here. The cocktails were delightful, but the rest of the experience left much to be desired."
