We were strongly disappointed paying £27 for this, full Scottish breakfast” and my avocado bacon egg on toast with brown bits all over and undercooked egg I did not take a photo) and 2 coffees. It was the worst brunch experience ever and as a previous coffee shop worker, I would be embarrassed to put this on the table for the customer. Food: 1"

Nice food and friendly staff. I had the soup of day (vegetable broth) which came with break and butter, and the hand battered haggis. Both were spot on. To round up I had a hot chocolate. Good service and nice friendly atmosphere in the cafe.

Great cafe, we had a good lunch for a fairly reasonable price. However, I found the service quite mediocre: no water at the table, no cutlery systematically. Non voglio giudicare il cibo e le bevande come la cioccolata calda, in quanto, in tutta la Scozia, c’è una visione totalmente diversa da noi italiani su cosa sia una cioccolata calda, per loro è un latte macchiato, niente di più. Ma a parte questo che può far parte delle tradizioni, il locale avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata e qualche formalità in più nel servizio.
